Best BBQ north of Mason Dixon

We were recently in Texas and had great BBQ, this place is as good as anything we had in the south. Great smokey flavors without overkill. Ribs were juicy without being overcooked to the point of falling off the bone. Sides are good, as good as you need. The meat is the top billing here. This... read more

We lived in Texas for 11 years and got to be big fans of BBQ. After moving to Washington State, good BBQ was much harder to find. But we did! For 10 years now this family has been making some of the absolute best slow smoked BBQ pork, ribs, links, etc. we have ever enjoyed. The small restaurant is done... More

For BBQ this place is really good. If I were only comparing it to other BBQ restaurants, I would absolutely give it an excellent (5 dots). I have been here several times and also been to events that they have catered. it is probably a good thing I live over an hour away, else I would eat her way too... More

We frequently call ahead and pick up a meal or 2 on our way to our cabin 30 miles from there. The food is great and the variety of BBQ choices excellent. The prices are reasonable. 2 takeout meals last us for 2 full meals at our cabin. We have never been disappionted with the BBQ food there.

My wife and I have eaten here several times. We have had the pork, chicken, and brisket as meals and for take home. The coleslaw is very good as is the home-made lemonade in the summer. We highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Cashmere area, Only two blocks off the highway on Aplets Way just across the Wenatchee River,... More

A little off the beaten path (as in it isn't in downtown Cashmere), it's clearly a local and travelers' favorite. The food was wonderful, the "real deal" in BBQ. Low-and-slow brisket was so tender, flavorful and plentiful. And I loved the "fries," which seemed to be a whole potato extremely thin-sliced and fried. They were fresh, seasoned just right, hot... The BBQ meats served here is above average, but I personally would have preferred different types of potatoes, other than the 'fried curly' item I had. It was like a string of fried chips, and was far too greasy for my liking. But, the pulled pork was excellent, as was the rest of the food. Nice little spot in this... More

Simply the real deal BBQ. No fuss. Just plain good! Smoked bbq choices include brisket, hot links, ribs and chicken. If you know what you want ahead of time, just give them a call and they will accommodate. If you don't, they might sell out and substitute but either way, YOU WIN!

My wife and I split a lunch 1/2 pulled pork 1/2 brisket. Both were great with side of corn bread. definately enough food. Because of storm that rained on their outside seating it was a little congested inside. They wouldn't put order in until a table came available. Fortunately, this was only a 5 to 10 minute delay for us.

My husband and I ate at Country Boys, at the suggestion of my coworker. My coworker is from Arkansas and told me that Country Boys has the best BBQ in WA State. Country Boys lived up to the recommendation. My husband loved the smoked meat but thought the sauce was only average. I thought the sauce was fine. The coleslaw... More
