pricey but delicious

Located in a typical suburban shopping center. Meal was very tasty, pricey, service was excellent. Beet salad to die for as well as an unusual gin cocktail made with lavender simple syrup. Scallops were perfectly cooked. Even have a kids menu.

Roots has changed. Quality is not as good. Not sure why...very disappointing! Fries used to be fresh now it appears they have gone to frozen fries. Hamburgers don't taste the same. Wedge salad was disappointing. Tried to leave a comment on their website & there is no link to contact them. Wondering if ownership has changed. Won't be going back.

This spot is known for upscale menu and is a popular spot for locals having a special night out. The food is excellent and the bar area popular. We often enjoy their happy hour menu and drinks. It is one of the more expensive spots to dine in the Camas/Vancouver area but offers a nice spot for a special occasion.

What a lovely find! We went here before a nearby medical appointment. What a treat--- gourmet food for all, impeccable service, quiet and lovely ambience. I would definitely go here again and the folks in the dental office said they go there for special meetings so I guess it is a local favorite.

Crossing the state line can be intimidating, traffic wise that is given the normal cluster-fudge of I-205 between Portland and Vancouver. However, if you can avoid the mind bending rush hour, you have an oasis waiting for you. Don't let the location in a strip mall turn you away. Roots is beautiful inside and the food is top notch. Stopping... More

We went here for our anniversary and were happy we did. We were a bit early, around 6:15, and the kitchen wasn't busy, but all of our service was exceptional. No waiting, generous portions, so I was surprised to read some of the other reviews. Water glasses kept filled, bread came right away, plates taken away as soon as we... More

I hadn't been to Roots for years because of a bad experience buy decided to give it another shot when a friend wanted to go for happy hour. I understand this is an upscale place but the portions are ridiculously small. I ordered the fried oysters got exactly three tiny oysters (and about a tablespoon of coleslaw). I could have... More

I chose this restaurant based on Yelp reviews. We were seated around 1:00 p.m. and waited quite awhile for our server to come take our drink order. We went ahead and ordered our food - a Cuban Sandwich and Fried Oysters and waited and waited for our drinks. We finally asked one of the Staff who informed us that he... More

Enjoyed a late Sunday afternoon lunch with a friend. The service was excellent, which is saying something, since my friend has lots of special requests. She was starving, so she ordered a bowl of the soup du jour, some type of leek-lentil, which arrived immediately piping hot. A little pricey at $7.50 but really good. The grilled flatbread with bacon,... More

Great food and charming restaurant in Camas Wa. Modern decor, good menu. Enjoyed the avocado shrimp salad.
