I like the local feel and the connection between the owners of the store and cafe. The "vibe" is what I enjoy more than the food. That's not to say I disliked the food. I enjoyed a couple good sandwiches and recommend visiting on your way to explore the parks and/or galleries on the island. Nothing beats the locals insights.

It was excellent. So sad to see it go.... The store next door took over the space and I think it's a deli and sells pizza?

We are part timer's on Camano Island and have always enjoyed coming to the cafe when here. Sadly we found it has closed when coming up for 4th of July in 2013. We understand there will be a Deli in the space the cafe had used.

Back in December 2011 I wrote a lengthy and positive review about this restaurant. I continued to enjoy their breakfast and service until about 6 months ago. The last few times I went the food was not as good. Then, Seva, the best waitress ever stopped working there. After that things went downhill. I recently read a review that another... More

Small cafe attached to a gas station. Very good food and service. Felt like we lived there. Sit anywhere you like. Great tea selection. Ham scrabble was perfect and the hash browns are the best I've ever eaten. Gave some to my wife and she agreed (so that's like two votes, haha) She had Swedish pancakes with lingonberries and sour cream.... More

We encountered nothing special on our visit. The decor is typical of a cafe, with paintings by a local artist. All the tables except one were either occupied or dirty and we never saw any of them get cleared or wiped down. The waittress seemed a little odd but friendly enough. The clam chowder lacked in flavor, though edible with... More

Sadly the Eleger Bay Cafe ( EBC) is not open late into the evening . But for those who are visiting the state park the EBC is a food heaven . If you find yourself not liking your own cooking the EBC is there to save you from the dulldrums . The Club sandwhich is the best item on the... More

Nice place for breakfast, soup, sandwich. Food is quite good for a small gas station cafe.
