It is handy to the downtown area, most notably the Admiral Theater. The food is interesting, the patrons are varied, the atmosphere is inviting. I think the cost of the food is a bit high for what you get, and the service isn't the best.

Toro is one of our favorite restaurants and they have a few excellent gluten free options. Mainly tapas, but with an add-one option, and another dish, we have never left hungry!! Laid back atmosphere, in the summer the garage doors are open and there is patio dining too. Last visit they had quite a few ciders available, as well as... More

Went a few times and will not return. Which sucks because the food is spot on, it's a very chill place, and taps were good. One night, the bartender, short brunette lady was very rude/sarcastic to some people that asked if they order a drink. She then told me if I wanted food, it'd be at least and hour. Then... More

Is this Jason Bender doing the Haggen closing? If so, not sure what is going on. You and I spoke at length, and you have been in a few times (which we really like). I spoke with Corrinn and the other bartenders, and they have the opposite experience from you (nice guy, great tipper, a pleasure). You even call Corrinn... More

A had dinner twice here, after a long days of tourism in Seattle. This place has a great setting, pub vibe, good music and original decoration, made of Mexican-style work of art. The cheese burger sliders are good, but the lamb sliders, made of patties of ground lamb meat and caramelized onions are absolutely delicious. The salami gourmet pizza is... More

This was our first visit to Toro Lounge. It has a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The food was good, but the service was painfully slow--and the only thing we ordered was a cheese and salami platter! How long does it take to slice some cheese, salami and bread and put it on a platter? At Toro Lounge the answer to that... More

Great sofa lounge but with bugs flying around. Tasty lamb sliders. Okay BLT. Good truffle fries. Not a lot of choices for a tapa place. So-so service.

Thank you for taking the time for your review. Bugs are always a challenge this close to the water...and we actively work towards trying to "squash" them, so to speak. Regarding your service, would you be able to help me out with more specifics about your visit, when you were here, who your server was, and what caused it to... More

I have been to this bar/restaurant dozens of times for business and social meetings. I was so happy to see a place in Bremerton like this. They used to have a more interesting menu and a GREAT bartender. Now, every time "Toro" comes up in conversation, everyone seems to have their tale of horrible service, the unhappiness with the new... More

Hi Lynn, thank you for taking the time for the review. To better address it, would you be able to share more details as to when you visited us and who your server was? It helps me determine who might need additional training. Regarding our menu, we change it all the time. Our new summer menu will come out here... More

Pro: The food is pretty good and tasty. They have a varied menu of choices, but all tapas style. No large plates. Large selection of local craft beers to choose from and no complaints on that. Con: Service is not good. I have been here a few times and the service is severely lacking. You have to flag a server... More

Fantastic food. Lots of locals go there to watch the Seahawks. Dates stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped on bacon awesome. Also had bread with garlic confit and clams with mussels. yummy!

Had really been looking forward to dining here but left unsatisfied. Menu is small and doesn't incorporate any traditional Spanish tapas dishes (which is why we went in the first place). We tried a couple items anyway and it was just ok. Servers were not very friendly, nor attentive to our needs. Had to ask twice for something, and remind... More

Thanks for your review! Tapas in the States doesn't necessarily mean Spanish food, and we do not claim to be a Spanish or ethnic establishment. We have fun in the cuisine we come up, trying to incorporate as much from locally sourced producers. I will take your feedback about the service and address it with the staff. -TL More
