I had read amazing reviews about the Oyster Bar and was really looking forward to our Sunday lunch there. My husband really loves raw oysters so he was very excited. View was good of the water peaking through tall pines growing on the steep slope below the restaurant. But I don't think the view justified the steep prices. Each raw... More

We came here for a birthday lunch, thus had to take the weather as it presented itself: rainy and misty, but it added a bit of special atmosphere to the view over Samish Bay and the nearby islands. We will definitely return another day when the weather shows its best side and the view is clear. The restaurant has a... More

An overall nice experience. Food was delicious. My steak and lobster tail was great , the chimichurri sauce was almost perfect ( as I think I make the best chimichurri in the world I really like this one) My guest meal was the beef tenderloins 2 oz medallions and shrimp combo ; the taste was good however the size was... Went there on recommendation from a local cheese maker. After looking over the menu and realizing that all items were quite pricey, decided to just have the Endives and Fig salad with a bowl of the Salmon Chowder. Bread was warm and tasty, service was excellent and view of eagles flying between trees was fantastic. Food was very well prepared... More

If you don't mind paying for the location, you will probably feel like you had a good experience at the Oyster Bar. Since I didn't eat the bread, I left the dinner table with an empty wallet and a vaguely hungry feeling. I ordered the "Stacked Crab" appetizer special which was more like a small heap than a stack. Very... More

We visited the Oyster Bar for our Thanksgiving meal. One person ordered the turkey, the 2 others had differing entrees. All appetizers and entrees were delicious. We also liked the festive autumn lighting and the fire. The magnificent trees outside added to our pleasure.

The Oyster Bar has been a high end, fine dining venue for at least 40 years. The service has never been the same since their long time waiter, John , retired, but it is still some of the best in the area. the food is eclectic and very well done and the view sitting on a cliff overlooking Samish Bay... Went to this restaurant on a sunny early winter day. It's view is absolutely perfect. As the dinning room is relatively small, it gives you a very cosy feeling especially on a rather chilly day. The food is good, and the pricing is comparable to other restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal especially how fresh the oysters were. Definitely will... More

It is not my habit to enter a restaurant moments after it formally opens the door for its evening dinner menu, but, I had a business meeting early evening, and decided that dinner about 4 pm would be just fine. The Oyster Bar where I've eaten before was ready for customers. I was the first customer on this very windy,... More

This weekend my spouse and I decided to drive up to Bow, Washington, and dine at THE OYSTER BAR on CHUCKANUT DRIVE--Highway 11. We reserved a table for four (always a good idea at this establishment!) with a window view. We were treated to an excellent dinner with an absolutely beautiful sunset over the Puget Sound. Three of us ordered... More
