This small, out of the way restaurant has delicious food, a terrific staff, and a location on the west side of Chuckanut Drive that provides amazing sunset views. My oyster dinner plate was superb, they also had a terrific gazpacho the nite we were there

First, I have visited this awesome restaurant numerous times over the past 20 years, & thoroughly enjoyed each and every meal. This year friends and I were off to the Tulip Festival in La Conner via Chuckanut Drive and I suggested we HAD to stop for lunch April 5. We all enjoyed a fish dish cooked to perfection. Scallop Risotto,... More

Returned for a visit to a memorable favorite restaurant. Very disappointed to see a hand lettered sign on front door "closed -under new management, will reopen soon". What a shame to close a good restaurant during change of ownership when the restaurant next door was busy at lunch time.

What restaurant do you know has the Chef / Owner coming out to not only greeet you but to also take your order? Chef Thomas was a true delight tonight and has been an owner fixture for over 20 years. In May of this year he starts another restaurant in La Conner name of ' The Oyster & Thistle'. My... More

The current owners have magically transformed this to one very fine restaurant. On Valentines Day my husband had the steak and I the outstanding duck on wild rice cooked polenta style. We sat near the corner window overlooking the wooded creek scene far below. Spectacular! Everything was top notch. We left oohing and aahing.

Please go the extra mile down Chuckanut Drive from Fairhaven (Bellingham) or come up from the South on I-5 and get off at the Chuckanut Drive exit for a beautiful drive up to the Oyster Creek Inn, not to be confused with the Oyster Bar less than a mile away...which is also great. I happen to like the casual ambiance... More

We have been often and will plan a trip just for the food. The drive from Vancouver Island, the ferrry are all worth it for the fantastic meals. Lots of terrific options from lunch to dinners. It is the perfect topping to a beautiful drive.

By far one of the best restaurants in Washington. Every thing is made to order from locally sourced seafood, produce etc. The pan fried oysters are divine. Perfect batter temperature. We also had the escargot which were done magnificently. Wonderful flavour, lots of garlic. Lick the dish clean with the bread. For our main we had scallops. Did I mention... More

My wife and I wanted to take some guests to a nice lunch and show off beautiful Chuckanut drive. We originally were heading to the oyster bar just south of here but their snooty attitude and overpriced fare drove us off. We thought we would give Oyster Creek Inn a tty and boy are we happy we did. The service... More

I was in the restaurant few times, with friends, traveled from Vancouver (2 hours waiting on US border-worth it!) just to be able to have this gourmet, high high above average -excellent food. Tried soups, appetizers , main course, desert,,, on the scale 1-10(10 best) -everything was 10.. Staff very professional, yet friendly. Nice atmosphere, lovely view .... Had fresh... More
