When they say farm to fresh they mean it. I had the beet salad and it was delicious. the cherry cobbler with vanilla ice cream was excellent as well. restaurant has an artsy county charm. Stop in the bakery next door. The baked goods looked fabulous... Unlike the synthetic muffins the Holiday Inn passes as their breakfast item.

Made reservations for dinner as we were staying close by on Samish island. My husband had fish that they surprised him and the chef brought it out to show him how fresh it was! I had the pan fried oysters that were excellent. We were treated as if we were family. Everyone was so friendly and superb service. Food was... More

Rhododendron Cafe is a great place for lunch or dinner while exploring scenic Chuckanut. The burger and salads here are great. We were impressed by the quality of the ingredients, flavors and service. We will definitely come back.

We are up here for our anniversary and saw the menu online. It did not disappoint. I had the steak and my husband had the king salmon special with some awesome berry cobbler for dessert.

As part of a day trip to Bow, my husband and I wanted to see what the Rhododendron Cafe was offering under its (relatively) new owners, so we went there for lunch. I opted for the panfried oysters with roasted potatoes and side salad from the "specials" board, while my husband chose the local, grass-fed beef hamburger with salad off... More

I have eaten at the Rhodadendron Cafe many times over the years, and the quality and quantity has declined a bit. Their menu is small. Their food is good but spendy for what you get. The service is great and it is a sweet little place. The desserts are yummy.

I reviewed this restaurant last year and gave it five stars. Even better this year. I had the chicken saltimbocca which was served with an extra cheesy polenta and green beans. My wife had duck breast served with a lovely spaetzle and some huckleberries. Shortbread with a pecan caramel topping for dessert. Fabulous. The decor is simple but honest and... More

This is a very nice place, that you find in the country, but easy to get to. Taste the local crops and quaint setting. Great wine list to go with your meal.

Stopped in here during an afternoon of bird watching. In fact, saw two eagles right across the road from the place. The time was 11:30, so we had a choice of breakfast or lunch. My husband chose the biscuits and gravy. What a surprise to see and smell it when it was delivered. The saffron colored it and made for... More
