Excellent dinner!

FYI: There are two eating establishments here, so make sure you're in the right place. Preservation Kitchen is located within the house, the Ale House is the bar and outdoor space. We actually go there quite a bit but it's because we live close by so it's convenient. It's good food for the money - average. Chances are you wont go wrong.

I've stopped by this "restaurant" several times for drinks, appetizers, brunch and dinner. It has been good, not ever great...until recently. My wife and I tried to eat dinner here last night and the experience was one of the worst I've ever had in the Seattle area. First off, no paper towels in the Men's room. Not off to a... More

After a local art show a group of our 7 neighbors decided to visit Preservation kitchen. A perfect, warm summer evening. The parking lot fills easily but we were encouraged to find a table on the patio that could accommodate us. Actually we were pleased to see a number of open tables inside as well. We shared with the nice... More

FYI: There are two eating establishments here, so make sure you're in the right place. Preservation Kitchen is located within the house, the Ale House is the bar and outdoor space. We had a wonderful dinner with friends, very good service, excellent food, inventive cocktails. It is not cheap: three of us had a drink, salad at an entree and... More

My husband booked a reservation 3 weeks ago...table for 4 at 11:00 am. Arrived at 10:55 and was told that because we had just made our reservation that day, they had seated us in the bar. We had our two teens with us and the bar is over 21 only. We pulled up the reservation confirmation on our phone and... More

I ordered an eggs benedict and received a hot plate filled with yummy looking cold food. Cold eggs, cold hollandaise, cold salmon, hot potatoes. 10 minutes later I was brought another plate with poached eggs with runny raw whites. That was the last I saw of my server for 20 minutes until I went inside to ask where my food... More

After talking about eating at Preservation Kitchen for a while, I finally made reservations to settle a Super Bowl bet (don't ask) with my wife and her parents. Situation up from busy Bothell Way in a converted house, parking can be a bit tricky (on-site parking is often full and requires the use of a valet). Other than that, everything... More

My wife and I have been her a few times before but decided to pay another visit during Seattle dinning week. We went on Sunday the 22nd and had a great time. The short ribs are to die for and the baked Alaska was small but very good and a nice way to end the meal. I have noticed that... More

starting with cocktails in the bar, we met with another couple for a couple's date nite... we had great food (my tenderloin was done to perfection), nice moderate portions, lots of interesting things to select from. shared dessert. good wine. I will be back!
