I live in La Conner and drove all the way to blaine for the deliciousness that is Nicki's Diner when I saw a name change. I was confused but THANKFULLY Lizzie was my friendly server from the times I had been before. She git to buy Nicki's and just like buying out any other business, it's been a work in... More

Nicki's Diner has recently changed ownership at the beginning of April and has been renamed Lizzie's Cafe. This was our first visit to the restaurant so I have nothing to compare it to either before the ownership change. Our first visit was interesting... Decor: I am a big fan of decor and ambiance as I believe part of eating starts... More

Most of the food here is your standard diner fare, but the reason to visit is the fabulous fish and chips. Large portions, enough for 2 people to share.

Classic 50's-style diner, complete with 50's music played on satellite radio at a reasonable volume. All of the food is homemade from scratch. No boxes of frozen stuff here. The food comes hot off the grill so quickly that you will need to let it cool for a minute or 2 before eating. Nicki's fish-n-chips are legendary for a good... More

Had the best Fish and Chips, could not finish the chips. Brother-in-law had the biggest hamburger he need a fork and knife to tackle it. No room for fried Mars bar :-(. Looking forward to next trip.

This funky little 50's-theme diner has the best fish and chips in the Birch Bay area. Beer and wine selection is limited, but reasonable. Small play tables are provided to keep young children occupied. A good family cafe, but limited parking.

Fabulous fish & chips, great burgers and efficient service, just a few min's from Blaine . For just $12.99 the fish & chips dinner is two big, very lightly-battered pieces of fish and all-u-can eat fries, and the fish is cooked perfectly; flaky and moist. The server brings the fish & chips out so quickly after cooking, that the fish... More

I took my children to eat here and was shocked by the horrible décor and even worse food. I ordered a hot dog they dropped in a grease fryer and called it 'gourmet'. That was $10. My kids had a sloppy burger with lettuce and tomato and cheese. All together it was $50. It was absolutely NOT WORTH IT. What... More

Thank you again for your “review” I feel you have left out a few facts..but that is alright, I will cover them for you. Our Hot Dogs are 10 inches long and weigh in at 1/2 a pound per dog. The bun is a custom locally produced bun. It has to be for a 10" hot dog. So yes it... More

My husband and I ate there today and the food and service was great. The restaurant had a very fun and friendly environment. The wall decorations and the music brings me back to the 50's. The waitress was very personable. I had a gourmet Chili Burger with onion rings and my husband had the fish and chips. Was delicious! We... More

Wow, this place charges for every condiment on your hot dog or hamburger! Never saw that before. Coffee was horrible, like dishwater, no refills offered, but I really did not want any! Creamers were artificial type, no real milk or cream, no real butter, just the artificial type. Attitude was very "uninterested". When I complained about the artificial condiments, I... More
