Jack Niemann will not honor his own coupons even though there is no expiration date on the coupons. We had a coupon stating that the schnitzel was less than the regular price with NO expiration date on the coupon. When we gave it to the waiter, he told us, "That's just an ad not a coupon". Now what does that... More

Just loved this place. Steaks were full of flavor, vegetables were fresh, and even though I'm not much of a potato eater, the quarter of the baked potato I did eat was cooked perfectly. Even the salt in the shaker was delicious. Our waiter told us it was Pink Himalayan salt. Will definitely come back when were in town.

Great atmosphere with great steaks and seafood. The service was friendly and attentive. We'll be back again when we're in the area.

My husband and I had dinner during Happy Hour. The staff was friendly and attentive. I chose the happy hour/bar steak; a 10 ounce sirloin with potatoes for $8.99. It was cooked to my exact specifications and was delicious. My husband had the steak and lobster for $28.99 and he was very impressed.

I spent the extra money to get a "prime 12 oz. rib-eye steak" ($32.00) which was cooked correctly ( rare-medium rare) but was not as good as many "choice" grade steaks I've purchased and cooked. I don't know why that is....it is only my experience. I don't profess to be an expert, I only know what I've eaten and I... More

The steaks are always perfect! The portions are huge, as are the sides. I've had the Bavarian platter as well and you could have fed a Bavarian family of four for a week with it. The servers are happy to explain the dishes and are attentive to refilling glasses and taking away used plates. Oh, don't let me forget the... More

Had dinner last night at Jack Niemann's Black Forest Steak house – Wow was I surprised by the quality. I ordered the special, Steak and Lobster, and it was awesome. I never need any butter on the Lobster as it was already bursting with flavor. I also usually like A-1 with my steak. No need the steak was perfectly cooked... More

My hubby and I decided to try out the Black Forest Steak house for an early dinner tonight. I had heard about their "happy hour" but couldn't find anything on their website to describe what it included. I am here to tell you all about it! We arrived at the restaurant at about 5:15 PM and were promptly greeted by... More

Our resort recommended this restaurant for dinner and they were spot-on! Three in our group ordered the special, steak and lobster, and they all agreed it was the best ever, As a vegetarian, I asked to have a veggie plate and it was wonderful. We were served by a great server, Troy, who helped to make the entire dining experience... More

The filet steaks and the schnitzel champignon are my favorites. We really like going to the BF Steak House in Blaine, but why do you feel that you have to charge soooo much for your dinners??? I compared the menu prices of the 2 BF restaurants (one in Bellingham and this one), and you charge $1.00 more for your schnitzel... More
