Great View in the restaurant and Good old style baked good too!

Nothing avant garde here, but very good renditions of Americana country cooking. Good sized portions and fair pricing. Friendly staff and the kind of bakery that people travel for.

This restaurant/bakery has quite a wide variety to choose from. The food was very good, it was very busy-lets you know its quality. I have been for breakfast and lunch and both were delicious and the service was top notch. Yes, vegetarians will find much to choose from there also.

The signs to find historical Black Diamond off Hwy 169 are not super obvious--even if you miss the first time, turn around! We visited the Museum, Antiques store (which my companion described as "what can't fit in the museum") and Bakery/restaurant. We enjoyed them all very much and could have spent more time in this historical side trip, on our... More

This restaurant/bakery is in a rather isolated location, but it is well worth the effort to find. (The town of Black Diamond only has 4,000 residents to begin with). We were actually out on a leisurely joy ride when we came upon this place. We have returned many times since then, often taking our out-of-towners for a little something different.... More

The history of the Black Diamond Baker is a wonderful store. The town of Black Diamond is a wonderful place and the food and atmosphere of the Black Diamond Bakery is great. It's a fun family restaurant and a great place for a drive and to take out of town guests. It can be a bit of a wait for... More

Stopped in here last Saturday morning to get donuts for the weekend....since this was my first visit, I tried half a dozen donuts, a couple cookies, and a loaf of bread....the donuts ranged from pretty good to very good, but the bread was very very good.... will have to try this place out for breakfast...

I first learned of this location because my stylist claimed the restaurant served the best bacon in the area. In trying out the bacon I discovered the best bakery in the area! Amazingly fresh standards and diverse offerings with sizable portions. My children always get something to eat there, something for the road and something for home. You won't be... More

The Black Diamond Bakery, located in the downtown area, not only offers great food but a bird's eye view of Mt. Rainier. Yesterday, we joined friends for breakfast and left feeling very satisfied with our meal and the service. The baked goods are wonderful and it's hard to leave without pastry, bread or donuts.

The Black Diamond Bakery is in a pleasant country kind of setting, with a good view, plenty of parking and a comfortable family kind of decor. The co-setting of the bakery and the restaurant is definitely a plus to the dining experience. However, given these advantages, and given the relatively expensive breakfast menu, it's unfortunate that the waitress that served... More

They can't. Food is really good here. The BBQ Pork Sandwich is my favorite and my son's is the Country Fried Steak. They have lots of variety and the baked good items are tasty. My daughter's favorites are the Chocolate Mousse and Russian Tea Cakes.
