Visited La Gloria with four kids yesterday for lunch. Sadly we were disappointed this time around. Tortillas seemed stale; burritos luke warm. Sauce on the burritos different than last two visits. Quesadilla was ordered with chicken, but came with pork. No carnitas or chile relleno. Disappointed.

This restaurant is more of a 'hole in the wall' as other reviewers have described it, but the food is fresh & hand made (corn tortillas). When we were there the restaurant had many Spanish speakers and Mexican customers. The adjoining Mexican Market is filled with Mexican soft drinks, beer, sweets, canned goods, cheese, a butcher, homemade tortillas, you name... More

Everything was authentic [I could tell my the actual mexican dishes listed]. I do wish their menu was completely Mexican rather then going off what they do best. I've had good Mexican food North of Mexico.. this one is the best. The only error I made was not researching the portion sizes and having TOO much food. This gringa got... More

This is the most authentic traditional Mexican food we've found in the region and a forced stop every time we drive trough town. Very good food considering the difference in ingredient availability and choice compared to Mexico or to other southernmost states (like California). Our favorites include the Birria (goat stew), Menudo (Beef tripe soup) and the Chile Verde (pork... More

This is one of those 'hole in the wall' discoveries that one hopes to find in any new destination. Good variety! Had the chicken fajitas & was excellent!! The fresh corn tortillas were amazing (my son doesn't generally like corn tortillas but I had to protect my plate from him). The rice was flavorful, light & cooked right, & the... More

Don't let the nondescript exterior fool you! La Gloria serves authentic--and delicious--Mexican food at extremely reasonable prices. Service is super friendly and fast considering the high volume of hungry diners. A visit to La Gloria is always a must when visiting Bellingham. After eating, pop into their attached market and buy their homemade corn tortillas (usually still warm) and homemade... More

For a fair price and good food, this one is worth mentioning! I like their burrito al pastor and they always have horchata and other authentic drinks that the larger Mexican restaurants in town do not carry. The prices are not too much higher than the taco trucks, so you can easily afford to eat with your friends here.

All is good. No disappointment. Ordered the platter, superlicious. Friendly hostess. Freshly made. Chips and salsa complimentary; made in-house. Excellent.

First time there for lunch. It is a simple type of restaurant, and I would say the food was fine, not really flavorful. The rice didn't taste so fresh and there was a lot of cheese. It wasn't especially flavorful and they skimped on the salad. Wouldn't go back, though I enjoyed going through the supermarket that it was attached... More

Been there twice now and pleased both times. The food is priced right and is very tasty. The setting is fast food and there is a market attached. Great Burrito.
