On an overnight stay to Bellingham my wife and I strolled through downtown Bellingham and stumbled into this place. We fell in love with the price and quality of their drinks. We each had a beer and a glass of wine with a cheese plate for under 30 dollars. The ambiance was business casual, with good music and a lot... More

A wonderful place to enjoy wine with cheeses, meats, and some fine good fare. Happy hour, especially the late happy hour, brings some nice specials. It was the perfect place to debrief after watching Lincoln with good wine, good food and a scrumptous dessert.

Don't even think about it; just go to the Temple Bar and have a great experience. We found ourselves in Bellingham two years ago and stumbled upon this place. We were completely blown away by what they can do in a tiny kitchen. We couldn't wait to go back and made a special trip back to Bellingham just to visit... More

This place is great. Where else can you get a plate of cheese and a bottle of french wine for $15. Yep, I said $15. The plate of cheese is smallish, but the bottle of wine is the real deal. My favorite great thing about this bar is that every month there is a special night for artists. You bring... More

We were just in Bellingham for a long weekend and we ate at the Temple Bar 3 days in a row! The menu is smallish, but everything we had was tasty, with great (not overly enormous) portions and very nice presentation. The cocktails are the best I've had in Bellingham, and the service is always friendly and quick. We loved... More

We cornered a local family to ask about a place for a bite to eat, and they suggested this. Luckily a table outside opened up as we arrived and we grabbed it! Happy hour commenced with a pinot gris and small cheese plate. We later ordered the salmon rillettes salad. The atmosphere was great--a sunny late afternoon and I had... More

This little hidden bar has a great atmosphere and even better desserts!! My boyfriend and I frequent this bar for a drink and dessert after our dinner. The chocolate cake with raspberry sauce is TO DIE FOR!!

The staff has changed over the years but this is still a great casual place to grab a drink and have something light to eat. The drink and food quality is very good; as an example, they squeeze their own grapefruit juice every day. Also one of Bellingham's few places to grab a late-night bite, although the menu is fairly... More

We used to visit the Temple Bar about once a week when they had jazz. Then they ended the jazz and we stopped going. We returned for the first time in quite a while to find that their limited menu items were pretty much the same but the portions had shrunk significantly. We ordered the Mediterranean platter had fewer items... More

Great place to catch up with friends, girls night, or to catch a quick cocktail before the Pickford! They have a bottle of wine/cheese plate for $15 -great deal. Try the French 75 or the Gordon.
