While walking around downtown Bellingham, WA we came across the Black Drop and decided to have a coffee drink. We ordered the Black Widow and OMG it was deliciously decadent, rich and creamy all at the same time. It is a strong coffee drink but being WA natives, that's all we drink. Enjoy!

Went to Bellingham for a day of sampling espressos at a number of cafés. Interesting experience. By the end I realized that the people of Bellingham really like old-school roasts. Black Drop was my first stop of the day. I really needed an espresso by this time. I have to say, it wasn't bad, the best old-school espresso I'd find... More

Love a good cup of coffee? No, I mean a GOOD cup of coffee. The little bit eccentric Black Drop is just the place to find it complete with nice little pictures in the foamy top. Did I say YUM?

It takes a while to get served but it's worth the wait. Friendly staff. Excellent macciato (the traditional kind). Wish they offered some manual brew methods (pourover, french press) and a selection of coffees.

Great coffee (8/10), unassuming shop as you enter you are almost misled by lack of ostentatiousness city slickers are used to, the coffee was great and the Barista was kind enough to recommend the breakfast 2 shops next to it which was fantastic as well. Good place to stop if you are driving from Seattle and crossing the Canadian border.

Free doppio Friday!!! Need I say more? And the toddy is divine. Try a specialty drink and sit and enjoy the art.
