Low cost, low end quality, charmless. The "ramen noodles" level of Mexican restaurants. Very basic at best. Attracts mostly poor students who want cheap and filling without just going to the freezer section at the local grocery story.

After a VERY LONG drive from the interior of the state, I was famished. My motel was right across the street and so, after unpacking, I ambled on over to Diego's. on the recommendation of the motel owner, a Korean gentleman. I should have thought twice about that. Diego's abuts another eatery, which seemed to be more lively and busy,... More

If you like fish tacos where the fish is prominent instead of a batter or grease then you'll love these. Grilledvwhite fish, guacamole and shredded purple cabbage on corn tortillas. This is the college place you come back to. Unassuming in decor but good basic food. Brown rice options as well. I now compare any other fish tacos to these... More

Not a good visit. Tacos were good but not worth the price. Rice was dry and bland, beans were likewise flavorless. The place was dirty. Just another lackluster Mexican place.

Grabbed a couple of burritos for a quick lunch and the service and food were high quality. Easy off and on freeway. For small place a large menu.

We shared chips and salsa, and each had a burrito. While this involved tortillas and salsa, to evaluate this as a "Mexican" restaurant would be misleading (based on what we had).* That being said, the meat was of good quality and freshly grilled - appeared to have come from "real" beginnings (as opposed to pre-cut from a box). The surprise... More

Stopped at Diego's mid-afternoon on a road trip to Vancouver. The place is small and the weather was good so we sat outside in the front courtyard which was clean and pleasant, surrounded by a high stone wall and many beautiful flowers. Our food was promptly brought out to us and turned out to be very good indeed. We would... More

service good, but food was nothing special. Rice was disappointing. Good menus, lots of choice, but little explanation. Patio on a very busy street in an older, dated neighborhood.

This is not authentic Mexican food. It is dirty and dingy inside. I think if this wasn't a college town this place wouldn't be in business. Yuk is the only description fitting for this dive.
