Tried the Samish location $3.95 lunch special. Comes with egg drop soup with peas and carrots. It was cold. Exactly as another reviewer said, the lunch special has this 'mystery meat'. I tried but had to spit it out. Raw in the middle chicken. Dark meat with the grissle and stuff hanging off it. Nasty. There is light yellow iceberg... more

Dinner on Saturday June 13 was grat! Great flavors in the Chicken On Rice with one spice level. Very friendly service and the piano player was very understated and soothing. more

On Rice recently started this $3.95 lunch "special" on weekdays. The sign outside the restaurant lured me in. The so-called "special" is one lunch item, not normally on the menu, that consists of ground meat of some kind with canned bamboo, served with limp iceberg lettuce and flavorless soup. There's no choice--just the one vile plate of ground mystery meat... more

The Pad Thai dish there was so bad that I couldn't eat it and asked the waitress to take it away after only two bites. YUK! more

Good quality, deviating a little from the usual run-of-the-mill Thai. Enjoyed the salad with peanut sauce, and the chicken with eggplant was very good. Would recommend it for a not too expensive but tasty meal. more

we have a daughter attending WWU and have found On Rice to have consistent good Thai food. We try and go there each time we are in town. Prefer the Fairhaven location the best. more

This is my favorite Thai place in Bellingham, and I have eaten at them all. On Rice has wonderful food - the Drunken Noodle is SO good. I would recommend this place to everyone. more
