There aren't enough wonderful things I could say about this place. The options for ice cream flavors were abundant, staff was polite, service was prompt. I was so pleased to learn about their process for making the homemade ice cream flavors. I got to sample a lot of their creative concoctions and none were a disappointment. If visiting Bellingham again,... More

I grew up near Bellingham and come back to visit a couple times a year. Mallards is always one of my first stops in town. Amazing ice cream, better than pretty much anywhere else I've tried. Interesting flavors, locally sourced ingredients and well treated (and friendly) staff round out the experience. Plenty of dairy free ices available as well. They... More

My wife, a celiac, was hesitant, but, being told her coconut chocolate chunk was okay, tried it to her delight. My fresh peach was also excellent.

Great ice-cream so many flavors to choose from and interesting flavors not just strawberry, vanilla or chocolate they have so many others. You will want to try them all. Also you will love the milk shakes they are so creamy and good.

I adore Mallards. I grew up in Bellingham and moved 10 yrs ago. EVERY time I'm back, I make a point to go here. Such a treat. I always make a point to try a different flavor, and have never been disappointed. Lavender and black pepper? Sure! Basil Lime? Ok! They truly have a knack for finding new combinations and... More

We loved Mallards so much that we went two nights in a row. They have unique flavors of icecream and let you taste test if you want to. It was delicious and different. I had Basil and Advocado. It is cash only - so be prepared and....kind of strange but they don't give plastic spoons but the little cheap wooden... More

We stopped here on a warm July afternoon for a snack and it was wonderful. We loved the unusual flavors. I had basil lime ice - and it was fabulous!! My son had cherry ice and my daughter chocolate chunk and almond. All of us really enjoyed the ice cream and can't wait to return.

If your looking for good ice cream and odd flavors Mallards is a good place. However, the serving size is very small and the cost is per scoup is fairly high. I've been going to Mallards for many years and it seems the scoups keep getting smaller. Each time I walk out after my purchase I can't help but think... More

Saw this cute place and decided to stop for ice cream one evening. Excellent! I had something lemon (yum yum lemon maybe) and chocolate coconut pecan - in a cup, husband had strawberry - in a cone. Both were delich. All ice cream is made there I guess and the flavor choices were interesting and many.
