Went in at 10:30pm Sat. they close at 11p. About 1/3 full. We were told by one they were closing soon and our dishes of ice cream were to go. Chairs were fencing off the center area and a mop was being swung around in an uninviting manor. We hung in the foyer for a while eating some of our... More

The flavors were a bit on the crazy side but we both found something we wanted to try and glad we did.Thought it was very good and the waffle cones seemed fresh and great too.

I applaud Mallard's for their creativity in coming up with unusual flavors, but I usually find the taste a bit diluted. I'm usually really excited to go in but a bit disappointed by the actual product. It's still a fun place and a treat after a dinner downtown - I just wish the ice cream had a bit more flavor.

It's tucked away and a little hard to get to but it was worth the trip. Parking meters were a hassle. They have really good ice cream and lots of flavors to choose from. You can have it in a sundae with anything you can think of on top. Very busy even in the middle of the day so that... More

There is nothing not to like about this Bellingham landmark. They make their own ice cream, in a wide and ever changing palate of flavors. One of the best ice creams I have had anywhere. Nice ambience as well, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and takeout options.

Stopped here with our 3 boys (ages 15, 12, and 9) - perfect break after a long hike. Great homemade ice cream flavors. Large area with open windows onto a nice street in downtown Bellingham.

Basil, coconut with chocolate chunks, peppermint, fresh apricot and cream, blackberry cheesecake, all fantastic! Other flavors and dairy free options. Flavors change as do the fresh local options are available. Only wish there were better seating options but there is still plenty of room. A must go downtown.

They have a collection of flavors that changes all year round depends on the season and the available local ingredients. This makes every trip to Mallard a different experience. It is in the center of the town and only five minutes walk from the bus station. It's the best option after sightseeing around Bellingham.

The ice cream is really good, though it can be a bit of a wait. They use fresh, local ingredients and have special flavors on their menu.

I had a double scoop of fresh raspberry and coconut chocolate chunk ice cream on a waffle cone. Loved it. Sat outside and watched the locals stroll on by. I will go back for seconds.
