Mallard's ice cream has the most amazing and scrumptious assortment of flavors you'll ever find. Exotic flavors such as basil, lavender, cardamom and turmeric are common. They use local, in season ingredients as often as possible (try the chocolate mint, rhubarb or apricot cheesecake - delish!). The shop is in the heart of downtown, and is always a fun place... More

a well kept place on one of Bellingham's busier streets, Mallard ice Cream never disappoints. Lots of variety, that changes frequently, and truly exceptional ice cream.

Mallards, was a little ice cream shop, was busy with a pack of school kids, which made it loud and over crowded, not a lot of space to sit and enjoy the ice cream. The ice cream, was good, the flavors were unique, nothing bad, but all in all seemed a bit pricey like Cold Stone for what you got.

In our travels we always try the local ice cream parlor. Whether gelato in Italy, Ice in Germany or Glas other places. Our own Mallards is up there with the best of them.

I had the Rose ice cream - normally people are really scared of putting rose flavour into foods, but this tasted really strongly of rose (my husband said soapy - if so, it was DELICIOUS soap) but to me it was like ice cold turkish delight. There was always a line when we went past, despite the efficient staff. They... More

If you come to Bellingham, you have to check out Mallard’s! They offer unique twists on different ice cream flavors from Apricot Ghost Pepper to Olive Oil or Beet flavored ice cream. Definitely a unique experience and the prices aren’t too bad.

If the above heading makes your eyes pop and your taste-buds water, get ye to Bellingham, Washington and get yourself into Mallard at once. The aforementioned flavor was a dairy-free ice, and was a lovely, complex fruity flavor with just a manageable hint of ghost-pepper kick at the end. While it is unlikely that the apricot-ghost-pepper ice will be available... More

I've been to many home made ice cream and gelato shops but WOW, this one is truly amazing! In our group we had the coconut, and the chocolate (to die for). Secret tip: bringing some yellow squeezy rubber duck's that you can part with. If they don't have it, your ice cream is free. I loved the ice cream so... More

House made ice cream with large choices of flavors. I had the Evil Peach Cheesecake, yum! If you are not sure, you can always ask for a small sample to try. Service is prompt and people are very nice.
