I've been going to Mount Bakery since it opened a number of years ago. Although it has changed owners, the quality of the food and the atmosphere of the cafe has not. I highly recommend you go there for breakfast or lunch when in the area - you won't be sorry!

I love the croissants in particular; they are the best I've tasted in Bellingham and consistently excellent! Being born in France, but living locally, I really appreciate the Belgian/French pastry treats. The cafe has a lay-back style with management and staff that are attentive, helpful and friendly. I eat here at least once a week and have never been disappointed.... More

My husband and I went here on a Friday morning and were able to find seating right away. I didn't feel like eating a big breakfast and knew I could steal a few bites of whatever my husband got so I got the granola with a side of yogurt both of which were good. My husband got the eggs benedict... More

We ran into this place while on our way to a rental. Just wanted a casual breakfast, and it seemed to be one of the only places open. Funky decor- lot's of local artist's work on display. Several areas for eating including a limited amount outdoors. Fresh, fresh, fresh, is the flavor of the day. Specialty of Eggs Benny that... More

My breakfast with friends here was okay, not great. Crepes were kind of dry, however eggs benedict nicely done.Potatoes not as good as 'Little Cheerful' cafe. Nothing in bakery cabinet impressed me as most of it looked burnt somewhat, so today was likely not the pastry chef's best day. Would go back to see if pastries looked better another day.... More

They have an extensive crepe menu and serve some other brunch type items. The real treat here are the desserts which are also sold by some other local restaurants. Very high quality baked goods. They do have limited sidewalk dining during nice weather.

What can one say about Mount Bakery other than FANTASTIC. From the owner, Vince, all the way though the staff, to the decor and what the place is all about "the food". The food is fantastic. For some, the price is a little up there but your paying for fresh quality food. The best eggs benni I have ever had.... More

We had lunch at the Mount Bakery Cafe yesterday while visiting Bellingham. Thought the interior of the cafe was very funky and inviting. Loved the fact that they use mismatched cups and plates which in my opinion makes it seem "homey". My girls loved the crepes. One had the chocolate one and the other had the veggie one. My hubby...
