Had an enjoyable family lunch before heading to the San Juans. We are something of Brewpub seekers during our travels. Have to rate this one middle of the road. Food and beer are fine, just not exceptional. Service pretty middle of the road. It's likely the best in Bellingham, yet in the shadows of some Seattle area brethren. Limited outdoor... More

Great local award-winning beers and good food in downtown Bellingham. Always busy tells you how popular this place is. Every September they host the annual not-to-miss cribbage tournament!

This was a return trip here. Last visit was 4 years ago when I brought my son to attend Western Washington University. He just graduated and I wanted our farewell meal to be at Boundary Bay. The beer was excellent. I like darker beer so I ordered their stout and ended with several glasses of their dark ale(?). Both were... More

My niece planned a gathering for relatives and friends at the Boundary Bay Brewery. We had the use of the outdoor area. It was a beautiful day which was great as we could sit in the sun or under the shelter. The fresh beer was exceptional and we were able to taste the various types before deciding on which pint... Always visit the brewery when in Bellingham. I usually drink the IPA but this time tried the stout which was nearly 9% abv - another good ale. It's nice to sit outside on a sunny day. A good atmosphere and good beer.

When you have finished hiking get a growler to go for your dog friendly hotel and watch a movie. Can't go to Bellingham without visiting Boundary Bay. Congratulations for the Ski to Sea first place!

We always enjoyed having lunch at this pub after a round of golf at Lake Paddon. Nice beer, reasonably good food and warm atmosphere.

The food at Boundary Bay is very well put together and very good. Prices are moderate but well worth what you get. I personally recommend the prime rib dip sandwich. I really can't say much about the beer as I don't drink but from what I hear the choices at superb.

We return to Boundary Bay whenever we're visiting Bellingham. Being a brewery, it's no surprise that their beer is fantastic. Their food is great too! The restaurant has high ceilings--very open-- which is a nice change from a typical "pub" and the atmosphere is comfortable and casual. Good service and just an enjoyable place to catch lunch or dinner.

Thanks for taking some time to review your experience at Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro. We are located in an old 1920's warehouse which is why we have those high ceilings. Sometimes I forget how tall this building really is! We hope you continue to join us on your visits through Bellingham. Cheers! More
