Good service, atmosphere, food, and drinks

Barkley Village Scotty Brown's is the rare spot in Bellingham that has a big city feel to it. They have a nice variety with their drink menu which I appreciate. Although this is a chain restaurant, it doesn't feel like a chain restaurant. It's a hip little place that draws crowds of all ages and types. It has good food (never had a bad dish) and I especially love their burgers and fries with Alaskan gravy. Scotty Brown's also has great drinks. We usually come in for their version of... More

This restaurant always gets it right! The food is fabulous, the décor is inviting and the service is stellar. How can you go wrong?

The Canadian owned chain Scotty Brown's is one of the better restaurants in the Bellingham area which is known for an abundance of mediocre wannabe fine dining restaurants. The food is well done, though not very inspired, and the bar is lively. The service is spot on. The deco is ultra modern and comfortable. They also have a small venue... More

My husband and I were headed to a nearby favorite restaurant, but decided to try something different. We were pleasantly surprised by the great food and service.

a classy yet casual restaurant that could be a sports pub, but it is too refined! The waitresses are all in black classy dresses that adds an air of sophistication. Yet they are as easy to talk to as can be. The food is a bit more formal that casual and everything was delicious.

Enjoyed the potato crusted halibut served in a rice bowl with a fresh salad. Really fresh and high quality food. Cooked perfectly. Energetically night scene. Good place to meet up with friends.

We enjoyed dinner here. The server was excellent. There when we needed her. Atmosphere is pub like - a little too noisy. The breaded halibut is worthwhile as is the Kobe burger. Priced reasonably. Tuesday is 20% take out day.

Service was excellent and cheerful. Sadly, the glass of Guinness is poured from a can. Had the fish and chips. The fish batter was light but under cooked. The fish was dense, fibrous, and chewy , likely a shredded and compressed fish patty and clearly not a true fillet. Good seating for plane watching behind security. One fish patty is... More
