Always a warm welcome on entering. Good sushi, wait staff friendly and quick service. The chefs go beyond to entertain as you enjoy the well prepared food. We always stop in when in the area.

Proper name is Kyoto (& not Koyoto). Our first visit Really enjoyed the 'show' in the Hibachi seating area with table chefs, and their routines. While this area is more expensive than the regular menu service area, our first time experience with the talented showmen-chefs was worth it to our group. There were a couple times when the fire produced... More

The food is delicious, there's no doubt about it. If you buy one of the local sports teams coupons - don't expect it to be honored here, even though they've been running those coupons for years. We came in with a birthday party of people and a few members of the party (not everybody - just a few people) wanted... More

I've never been to this restaurant but my boyfriend picked up some food for dinner the other day. When he opened the box I saw two different rolls - 8 pieces of one type and 5 pieces of the other. When he told me it cost $24.00 I was really surprised. The food was not bad but I can get... More

Alright, so I've never tried their fancy Hibachi side; we always go for the (cheaper) cafe side, where you can choose from a million kinds of sushi or a more standard menu with yakisoba, teriyaki, etc. It's a great bargain for the price as the meals we get are around $6-$9 and come with soup, really delicious salad, and a... The actual spelling of this restaurant is Kyoto, but that's tripadvisor's fault. We were a large group and called ahead to reserve. We were assured we would have enough space. Sadly when we got there, we were jammed into a corner so one of us had to eat off the corner of a table. The prices seemed high, but I... More

After reading all of the awesome reviews and looking at their menu online we were really excited to go and try their food. It was an awful idea. My dad took one bite of his yakisoba (a normally easy to prepare and awesome dish) and pushed it aside. There was a horrible sauce that tasted like nothing but salt on... More

Well, actually, it wasn't dinner, but lunch - but we still got the 'show'. The table, which seats about 8 people, has the grill in the center, and the cook/chef comes out with your order and does his fancy show with all the cutlery while preparing your food. Very entertaining! The food was excellent, and although somewhat on the pricey... More

Traveling through Bellingham a stumbled upon this place. Time for dinner and was not disappointed. Great food and a good show at the same time. Had better fried rice but theirs was not bad. I will eat there again next time in Bellingham.

I really like Kyoto. The food is good, it's entertaining and its great to meet new people at the communal table. Our family enjoys going here because we can all be seated at one table and enjoy the show and each other.
