At the Chrysalis Inn in the space of the former Fino's, Keenan's is a breath of fresh air for the local restaurant scene. Interesting, well seasoned and prepared food is offered in a smart casual environment. The service is as good as it gets in the 'Ham but the hours of operation seems surprisingly rural. They roll up the sidewalks... More

Went for lunch with 2 friends. Gorgeous setting, but the food didn't live up to the hype. I'm not usually picky about restaurant food, but out of the 3 meals, none was quite right. We had to send the soup back because it was cold. It then took a LONG time to come back, we even thought they might not... More

I had an outdoor table with sun and breeze on a warm April evening, very pretty. The apple and pear salad was brilliant... a combination of bite sized bits of warm apple and pear, amid salad greens lightly dressed in a mustard vinaigrette and little shreds of bacon. Apple + pear + mustard + bacon = delicious. For my entree,... More

We ate breakfast here & I was thoroughly impressed. Service was excellent. The view was incredible, and the food was very memorable. The croquet madame was exceptional & my wife's roasted vegetables with a fried egg was very tasty. The menu was good fresh food & had a little french country flair to it. Would love to come back and... More

Was driving seattle to vancouver during a 2 week cross-country vacation and got advice to take the chuckanut drive up to bellingham and then get back in interstate. Amazing drive, so glad we did that. Ended up in this town at the end of chuckanut drive and found keenans as part of some hotel/spa i guess, sitting right on the... More

Dinner..my husband's steak was great. My pasta tho somewhat flavorful was bland overall. It could have used a little salt. They serve a great Caesar salad. And the view is great. Would suggest doing the Happy Hour with appetizers. Been there, done that and enjoyed.

Breakfast was very good. Great Fish and Chips for lunch. Dinner entrees were a bit odd: had grilled Skate which was a bit disappointing, lacking flavor. Steamer clams were overdone and tough with a watery broth. Scallops were excellent but served on risotto that was of a very odd and non-complimentary flavor.

Shared HH burger and a couple of glasses of wine. Happy to know that they had gluten-free options available. The salad was fresh, and had a light dressing on it. There was a table of noisy ladies next to us, but we were able to move to a place where we could have our backs to them. Our server was... More

This restaurant has become the favorite place for my wife and I to come for a special meal. Bellingham has many restaurants, but many times we are disappointed by the noise or just "ok" food. I am a big seafood chowder fan and this place is by far the best I have tasted in Bellingham, or for that matter anywhere we... More

Tucked away on the bay is a little place called Keenan's on the Pier. This restaurant consistently serves up near perfect meals that make your mouth feel like it has died and gone to heaven! Sitting in the main restaurant or out in the bar you still have killer views of the Bay. The waitstaff was courteous and uber efficient.... More
