Great service! Nice atmosphere, the raw oysters were terrific. Dinner: Scallops were cooked perfectly but the vermouth pasta was, meh. $40 seemed a bit much for that dish. Everyone was pleased with their meals, enjoyed was the prawn stir-fry, steak and paella. Just didn’t feel...the price was worth it.More

We ate supper in the lounge during Happy Hour. The beef bolognese with wide noodles was excellent, as was the fish tacos and truffle fries. The truffle fries order could feed 5-6 people! We breakfasted in the restaurant and both had the Classic which is...two eggs any way, bacon, pan fries and toast. Unfortunately the bacon and pan fries were a bit overdone which detracted from the overall taste experience and the look of the breakfast presentation.More

We were seated outside and forgotten about, but once we had a server, it was great. The fish and chips were delicious. The seafood chowder was average and was a bit thin for our tastes. The fish tacos were also average, which was disappointing because...they looked so good.More

Had the black cod---they gave me a little tale piece not much bigger then a silver dollar sitting on a rice vegetable mix--the cod was served with the skin on--was very hard to separate the fish from the skin so had to eat the skin...to eat the fish---have never had black cod served that way, not good--if I was a waitress I'd be embarrassed to set that plate down in front of a guestMore

We made a reservation for our 55th wedding anniversary celebration, a dinner, just for my husband and me. We had a truly amazing culinary experience, exceptional service, and felt pampered the whole 2 1/2 hours we were there. We had the beet salad For a...starter, and it was generous enough that the server offered to split it between us. The citrusy dressing was delicious, and the salad itself was absolutely delightful! For main courses, we had the sea scallops, and the duck breast entrées. Both of them were really and truly delicious . The house comped a dessert, and we chose the bread pudding. We happen to love bread pudding, and this particular one was a real treat for the palette! Our server, Carly, was very attentive, and kept her eye on us the whole time we were there without being overbearing, or intruding on our special occasion. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience, and we highly recommend the restaurant. We had been there before for lunches, but this was our first dinner. We would definitely come back, just for a great night out!More

Consistently excellent! The entrees, the desserts, the service and the setting! The only reservations one might have is their pricing structure is high. In the summer, ask for a table on their deck overlooking Bellingham Bay.

The view is the main attraction here. The food was good, but we wouldn't go there again just for the food. Our server was timely and pleasant. There are GF options which is important to us. Hubs loved the blackened fish tacos, my sandwich was...OK. I think they are know for their fish & chips.More

Beautiful Views but the menu has gone way down hill. Shocking we have come here for years before and during Covid but have not been here in awhile and it was terrible. Starting with the crab cake appetizer and the Ribs. The ribs took an...hour to show up to only be cold and tough. We got dessert and it was the the flourless torte and it was separated and the worse chocolate flourless torte we have ever had. The waitress was sweet and tried very hard no complaints with her. The menu is so different and very unpleasant and very unappetizing.More

This restaurant benefits from a magnificent view from every table, inside or out. The food is good, not spectacular, but good. However, the service during lunch was terrible. We waited over 15 minutes before someone came to take our order, and then we waited at...least 30 minutes for the order to show up. When our did show up, the fish tacos came cold, and the fish wasn't the freshest. We credit this to poor management, because the servers were all very pleasant and clearly working very hard.More

I wasn't sure whether to give Keenan's 3 or 4 stars. First of all, the ambiance and view are lovely. For appetizers, my wife and the son we were visiting had crab cakes that were very good. I had Judd Cove oysters that were perfect....That's when things got a bit funky. I had Ling cod that was served on top of a huge bed of very spicy (hot sauce or red pepper flakes) tomatoey rigatoni. The two parts of the entree were very much in conflict with each other. My wife and son had King salmon that had a strange panko breading on top that really did nothing except subtract from the salmon. It was slightly overcooked and sitting on a bed of risotto that seemed more onion than rice. We left Keenan's wondering what the chef could possibly have been thinking. In fact, we joked that maybe he/she had watched too much Top Chef, where perhaps the contestants were asked to prepare dishes with components that were polar opposites!More

Overcooked steak and flies: two strikes is all I allow. Good restaurants cook steaks with sous vide ... allows temperature control you can't get cooking with flame. My steak was ordered medium rare but came medium well ... I never send food back I just...never go back to that restaurant. And I skipped dessert because of this too.More

We stopped in for lunch because we wanted a place with a water view. We knew nothing of this place, but I'm glad we found it! We were seated right away in the bar, which was fine for us. Our waiter was very friendly and...attentive. We had some lovely oysters on the half shell. They were nice and fresh. So good. We decided to split the apple sandwich, which was unusual and excellent! It was such a lovely lunch, and afterwards we were able to take a stroll out on the walkway along the water!More

Party of six enjoyed an outdoor brunch, shielded from wind and warmed by heater and offered blankets. All dishes enjoyed— several omelets, two eggs Benedict, satisfying Bloody Mary. Nice friendly service too !

Sitting outside with a sunset view was exceptional and worthy of five stars. The menu and food preparation was very good although certainly not exceptional. Three stars for the food. We could have certainly recommend a visit based on the atmosphere and the food. However,...after having just served us desert and tea the manager informed us that another party was waiting for our table and asked us (before we had finished our meal!) to move to another table. To add insult to injury, the manager’s interaction with us was completely undiplomatic and bordering on rude. While we certainly understand the desire of the restaurant to turn tables and honor reservations, no restaurant, especially one that represents itself as fine dining, should ask guests to vacate their table before finishing their meal. Although the setting was exceptional and the food was good, the overall dining experience was poor and it is difficult to recommend this restaurant to others. There are better choices in Bellingham.More

Cioppino The view was spectacular and the restaurant has an inviting layout. The one major downfall was my cioppino was lukewarm. My husband’s hamburger was very good. I rarely send anything back but this dish was the exception. Dish promptly returned and seemed likely a...minute or two in a microwave. Piping hot and no flavor. Bread was brought near the end of the meal for the sauce. Very disappointing as the restaurant was highly recommended and busy.More
