We went to the LHB & G for something light...and it was so fantastic I had to write a review. We had salads and salmon cakes. Let me tell you about the cakes. They literally melted in our mouths. We wanted crab cakes as we had had those in the past. But only salmon cakes were on the menus. We... More

The Lighthouse Bar & Grill (a reasonably large restaurant) is in the Hotel Bellweather on the water at the entrance to the marina in Belllngham. There is nice seating by a wall of windows with views of the water and docked boats. Our server was attentive. I had their surf & turff special which was a thick, tender sirloin (like... More

Amazing oyster burger fried Ina lightly battered and spiced onion ring. Flavourful lemon vinegrette in an interesting-greens salad and a mousse to die for. Try the riesling. Mmm. Beautiful view of the water and sailboats! Well b back

Worst service I ever had, or should I say no service at all? My friend and I went there for dinner, we waited for somebody to sit us, but we didn’t see anyone coming, but there was a sign that said “join us at the lounge”, so we decided to go to the lounge. We sat ourselves; we sat there... More

I love this restaurant. The view is to die for and the food is very good. I recommend their salmon burger for lunch. It is a beautiful piece of salmon cooked to perfection. You can get it with fries, house salad, caesar salad or roasted potatoes. For dinner I recommend the seafood salad. It is huge and loaded with dungeness... More

LIghthouse Bar and Grill is by far one of the best dining experiences that we have had in Bellingham for years. Menu has has expanded for greater choice. We went to celebrate a birthday. We had asked for a window seat BUT when we got there they were all taken. That was disappointing bad we were seated in the middle of the room. We asked if we could move to a booth. It was cozy for four of us but we are all good friends so it was... More

We were staying at the Bellweather and decided to eat here due to convenience. This was a tough choice given all of the other good restaurants on the peninsula. However, we were reward for our choice! The menu was extensive with so many good options that I had trouble choosing. The food was great. And, the service was spectacular.

We were surpried at the gourmet menu offerings and not disappointed in our dinner selections. We ordered a scallop penne and halibut en croute. Not only were each of our seafood dishes perfectly prepared, the asparagus was al dente and the enokki mushrooms sauteed and seasoned to perfection. The wait staff could not have been more well informed and helpful.... More

Had a divine dinner at this restaurant: Halibut in phyllo on a bed of basil risotto with grilled asparagus and mushrooms. Simply fantastic! The waiter (Alex, I think) was very attentive and recommended a wine we especially enjoyed "Jack", which is a red blend - yes, we like red wine with fish. Superb. Then for dessert the apple betty. I'd... More
