Expectations were high for my 2nd visit to Cafe Rumba. Now...what to eat? Asado De Res-that I devoured last visit-featuring Melt-in-your-mouth Pot Roast with Rumba's unique Tuca Marinara Sauce, or my friend Lynne's favorite-Pavo-Grilled Turkey with spinach, veggies, and a fusion of Rumba's magical Salsa's? Soup? Appetizers? I went for the Pavo. Each bite was a taste sensation! My friend,... More

I was curious about this little Peruvian place, but didn't really want a sandwich. Curiousity won. We had the BUTIFARRA (country ham, yam, mixed greens, salsa criolla, aji amarillo) and ASADO DE RES (beef pot roast in tuco marinara sauce). They came with either potatos or yams with a sauce that reminded me of one of the popular mojos of... More

We go to Cafe Rumba a couple of times a month, at least. Sandwiches are great every time, and they often have delicious Peruvian specials that are not available on the regular menu. Prices are good, staff is terrific (very friendly and proud of what they do). There are no similar options in town or in the region. Stop by... More

Holy Posole! I just had the most incredible feast at Cafe Rumba! If you think Antonio's Cuban Salsa is hot, say "Mucho Gusto" to his Asada De Res Sanguiches with Peruvian Marinara Sauce! It's lean, tender, and perfectly juicy. The side of Papas Con Aji, delivers potatos to a delicious new direction. Don't wait for a special occassion to vist... More

We decided to try Cafe Rumba's Peruvian menu on a Thursday & discovered all sandwiches are $2 off. The guy at the counter was enthusiastic and fun; he gave us samples of all their sauces to try. We had 2 of their popular meat sandwiches on good crusty buns with sides of their specialty potatoes & sauce. My sandwich had... More

Recently went on Thursday (it's $2 off sandwich day). For the price and size of meal...good value and the taste was muy bueno. Can't wait to go back and try another selection. A lovely change from the normal lunch fare.

A friend of mine told me about this place a while back. Last weekend I was headed up to Bellingham so I decided to check out the reviews on tripadvisor. It was rated the #1 restaurant in Bellingham which really got my attention. I ended up going there with my boyfriend for lunch. This place is known as a deli... More

Stopped here to eat today with my wife on a sunny Saturday. Almost all tables were full with hungry diners.Selections were a little confusing because we weren't expecting homemade roasted meats on fresh buns with a side of sliced potatoes and sauce. I had a roasted meat stew which melted in my mouth. My wife had grilled turkey breast with... More

The staff was incredibly nice and prices seemed right for a small local business. Nice small cafe with a welcoming atmosphere will definitely go again. Unique flavor, glad I chose to go here today, would recommend the Lima club.

I don't understand the review that said the sandwich had no flavor, this was one of the tastiest sandwiches I have eaten. I travel all over the world and this is my favorite. I can not recommend it enough if you are looking for a very reasonable alternative to the chain restaurants.
