Don't let the exterior fool you!

We were looking for a place to eat lunch in Bellingham and we wanted Mexican cuisine or a burrito place and we can Casa Que Pasa. I chuckled to myself when I saw the exterior with the paintings in the window. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go in but my family insisted. I ordered a pinto bean... read more

I've been enjoying Casa q' Pasa burritos for around a decade. The other day at lunch I had the chicken tacos. My girlfriend wanted the carne asada burrito, except on a plate - we only found out when the bill came that the plate costs double the price at an outrageous $18.99 - Que pasa? On top of that the... Grew up on authentic Mexican food in Southern California, so I have a high tolerance, and genuine affection even, for the kind of no-atmosphere Mexican hole-in-a-wall that just produces simple but great tasting food. Casa Que Pasa looked like that kind of place, and it was crowded, so we went in for a meal. This is not authentic Mexican food.... More

Popular with students due to large portions and low prices. But if you are looking for even remotely authentic Mexican food, you will not find it here. Potato burrito, anyone? Maybe it was just a bad day, but service was very slow, and the place was not clean. The serving was ample and filling, but bland. Afterwards, I felt sick... More

My roommate and I always get the potato burrito to split. The portion size is huge and a great value! Nothing beats a cheap eat that is so DELICIOUS! I recommend everyone to try! We will definitely return soon for yummy eats.

That says it all, really. We've been here several times and are never disappointed. If you're looking for fancy sit-down service, don't bother. But if you're craving some good Mexican with not frills, head on over and be blessed by huge portions and good stuff. Local art on the walls (some for sale) makes for a nice hip vibe, as... More

This place is like a little diamond in the rough. Great food at a great price! You get a lot of food for cheap so go hungry! It's a bit of a hipster joint but don't let that turn you away the food makes up for it! The staff were great when we asked what was the best thing to... More

Up and down the West Coast there is a category of eating establishment called "Good, Cheap, Mexican." These places are so abundant that they are often taken for granted by natives. Having lived most of my life a long time ago in a part of the US far, far away where these places are scarce to non-existent, I cherish them.... More

Passing through Bellingham I had to go back to my old stomping grounds. The "house of what's happening". I remember their prices were cheaper 12 years ago, but cost of living went up as expected. We didn't enter the tequila bar, which is great for drinking and watching college hipsters getting loaded on a weekend night. The front half still... More
