This restaurant is just average for the stir fry style dishes we ordered -- unfortunately I don't remember exactly what we had. The restaurant is nice enough. Based on other reviews, it sounds like sushi would have been a better choice.

Any trip to Bellingham, Washington is a great excuse for stopping for lunch or dinner at the Asian 1. It is conveniently located across the parking lot from Costco, plenty of parking and once you enter the restaurant, you are in for such a treat. The food and presentation are top notch as is the service. If you are lucky... More

I had the Rainbow and the Phan-tasy rolls. Both were phenomenal. The fish and crab were fresh (they even guarantee fresh tasting sushi or they will take it back). Don't judge the book by its cover. It is in a strip mall and the country oak furniture is odd for a sushi place. However, this sushi is some of the... More

Excellent sushi-fresh and well presented. The country log furniture is a little odd for a sushi spot bit the service is friendly. Not sure why it takes so long to get sushi-I ate both dinner and lunch here and both times the cooked food arrived much sooner than the sushi. Don't go for a quick bite-plan to sit down and... More

We stopped in with our daughter and husband and infant son, were seated promptly. The place was busy which is most often a good sign. Although it was busy the service was way above average and the food served promptly. the food was worth waiting for. All in all I liked this place and will return again.

I love this place! The atmosphere is really something special. Really tasty sushi. I'm a college student and I find the prices reasonable. I would call the food fusion. There's a lot of non traditional things on the menu that you won't find elsewhere but there's also the classics too. I won't buy a pad Thai anywhere else!

The food is alway good and there's a wonderful variety of items to try in the menu. The sushi is always fresh and expertly prepared. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. The overall atmosphere is wonderful and is a very enjoyable experience.

Food was very tasty, decent portion and the atmosphere is good. The price is high for this part of the country but no outrageous.

My experience is only on the sushi, I never really tried the other dishes, but sushi there was actually a great experience. First I sat at the sushi bar that is a must! The sushi chef there is extremely friendly and makes you feel comfortable to be there. The fish was fresh and I really appreciate them using real crab... More

Best Asian place in town! It's the only place to go to for sushi! Great location. Never had a bad experience. Prices are decent.
