First time at Mambos. There were 5 of us and we all had something different. Everyone enjoyed their meals and all had enough to take some home for next day lunch. Price was what I would consider average. Service was excellent. Will go back. Try the crab cakes.

Came here for a family dinner on the way home from a day trip north. Salads and main courses were delicious and the service was excellent. The complimentary bread was a bit dry and the penne accompanying the entrees was slightly overdone, but overall the meals were great. Portions were reasonable, as were the prices. The kids left happy, too!

Everything was great. Waiter was unable to describe species for salmon special but it tasted good anyway. Would prefer to sit in the main dining room on twelfth street instead of the annex. Atmosphere is much more like a cafe than the annex.

Dined here when visiting Daughter and Family in Bellingham. The staff was very efficient and friendly. The restaurant atmosphere was quaint and cozy although small where we dined. The hostess and servers were very friendly, courteous and pleasant during our time there. The food was excellent with a large variety of items on the menu. Quite a choice of appetizers which... We had dinner there last Saturday and were very happy with this place. It was quite busy and we had to wait about 35 minutes for a table. Would have been best if we would have put our names in and then walked around the town for a while. They called us on our cell phone when the table was... More

We went for lunch with a friend who raved about their meatballs; and we were not disappointed. Is there a better comfort food? Service was prompt, attentive, and efficient. The bread was fabulous; the meatballs, as mentioned above, super; the soup de jour absolutely delicious, and the panini excellent. We didn't have room for dessert - next time! Wonderful ambience,... First walked in and i was charmed by the well renovated building. It was warm and bustling with happy patrons...the steamer clams were supurb, the both of us dove in the bowl shamelessly and swam around in it...we backed it up with 2 great pasta dishes, then why not dessert if everything is going that good..pumkin cheesecake accompanied by tawny... Mambo Italiano is not the restaurant it used to be. The food is pricey, average quality, the bread is disgusting and the service is poor. The restaurant in itself is not even comfortable. It's hot and dark. They are many other better dining options in Bellingham,

If you're in the mood for good Italian food, this is the place. Freshly prepared tasty entrees, salads, and delish calzones. Hearty portions. Good wines to match. Delicious bread. All in beautiful Fairhaven section of Bellingham, WA. Definitely not chain restaurant.
