Sure glad I checked trip advisor for a restaurant on our way to BC. My wife really enjoyed the King Salmon special while the halibut was very good. Did not have reservations but they made a place at the bar for us. Staff very friendly and helpful. Well worth the trip.

We heard about The Fork and went out of our way on our journey from Spokane to Whidbey and are we glad we did! Pork slider, shrimp and grits to start, followed up with wild boar shank and finally sorbet.. Oh forgot about the tasty mushroom soup. What a well put together meal. Our server Nate did an awesome job... More

The Fork has always been a favorite. This is a place that just does it right everytime, I just wished I would think of it more often. The old adage out of sight out of mind. But when we do go it is never disappointing. Love the casual atmosphere for Sunday Brunch. Cannot go wrong with anything you order here.... More

This is one of our favorites for a quiet cozy evening with terrific food. Anything they serve with the local wild mushrooms is sure to please. The wine selection always offers a compliment to the meal. The drive around the lake to get there, only adds to the beauty of the place. The interior decor is relaxed but has a warm... More

Such a little oasis! I love going to The Fork. Always a nice atmosphere, always good service and always unique and wonderful meals. Menu rotates with the seasons using local sources. I've never been disappointed with the choices, encourages me to try something new each time. Good wine choices. Nicely decorated for an upscale, but very comfortable feel. Looks like... More

Rated as one of the best meals to be had in the Bellingham area I had to try it! What I found was a nice location, comfortable interior..well appointed. You can be casual on one side and a bit more spiffed up for the other side. Food was really quite good. I would say that the plate presentation was excellent.... More

While visiting relatives in Bellingham, they took us to The Fork for a Sunday breakfast. All the food was freshly made, locally sourced and served in a fun, friendly restaurant. Husband loved his huevos rancheros and our two family members enjoyed their mushroom omelet and pulled pork breakfast. I had the pancakes which were good - not great and not... More

The first restaurant of a vacation is always subject to the greatest scrutiny. Mindful of that, I let this review sit a couple of weeks to the end of the trip to be more comparative. Unfortunately, it hasn't altered my view. The Fork can be both a treat and a disappointment, and that is why I cannot fully recommend you... More
