Description: We were visiting Bellingham. Our daughter told us about a creperie she'd liked but couldn't remember the name. We couldn't find it on the web, but did happen upon Magdalena's which is in Fairhaven, a quaint suburb where we planned to stop anyway. We decided to give it a try and it was wonderful. Inventive crepes, savory and dessert, fresh and delicious. We shared a veggie crepe, made properly with buckwheat; potato and cheese perogi, and a smoked salmon, avocado, sun dried tomato, and horse radish creme baguette. We were too full for a dessert crepe, alas. Very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality. And Magdalena proved lively, personable, and charming. The cuisine is basically Polish, but lightened and re-invented. I took some photos for TripAdvisor readers. Almost worth a trip from Seattle.

I visited friends in Bellingham 11/15 and they took me to Magdalena's Creperie in Fairhaven for lunch. Loved it from the moment I walked in... The beautiful pictures on the wall did not exaggurate the look and taste of what we ordered. Special sauteed apple crepes for me and cabage stew and pork sandwiches for my friends with an assortment... More

What a pleasant surprise we had today in Fairhaven! I was visiting from Seattle and we decided to try some place new for both of us (she lives in the area). What a great find!! We both ordered different savory crepes and my chai latte was delicious!! We will definitely return!!

We had been traveling around for the better part of the morning and breakfast was starting to look like lunch so a wonderful brunch here fit the bill. We couldn't decide between pierogies or crepes so we had a small assorted plate and ordered crepes too. Everything was delicious. We loved the pierogies so much we asked for two dozen... More

This little creperie in Fairhaven is a treasure for those of us who really appreciate good quality and careful preparation. Magdalena herself is an accomplished chef and a creative person who provides home-made dishes every day which are unique to the area. Her crepes are wonderfully light, but it does not stop there. She makes her own sauerkraut! She prepares... More

I've developed a taste for crepes in the last few years. But I'd only had what I think of as French-style crepes, soft and folded over the food. The crepes here are really artistic--a bit stiffer (not sure that's the right word), and enclosing, rather than covering the filling. (I had a dessert crepe--for breakfast, with strawberries and chocolate. The... More

Owned by a very nice Polish lady. The crepes are good but be sure to try the traditional Polish pierogi and the lovely Stumptown coffee lattes. This use to be the only crepe place in town but now there’s also AB Crepes in downtown Bellingham, which offers crepes for 1/3 of the price. Still this venue offers more gourmet style... More

The crepes did not taste great, They tasted burnt . The sauces tasted ok They served warm water in the carafes they filled with water for the table. We love crepes and looked forward to it. I guess they make crepes in new England different than they do in Washington.

This place was terrible. We ordered the Bruschetta Crepe and it was very disappointing. They charge you $2 more to get it with a crepe. The crepe had no flavor other than a burned taste. The Bruschetta consisted of huge chunks of bland tomato with only a trace of garlic and a drop of the balsamic vinegar you expect to... More

Whether you are looking for Crepes for a meal or a dessert, this is the place to go. The lady that runs this place is truly a master at crepes. Have tries crepes in many places, but this is definitely one of the best.

Day trip to Bellingham for a sports event, wandered about in the funky, lively Fairhaven shopping district and came across this fantastic creperie for a late morning brunch. Delicious fried Polish pierogis -- we tried them stuffed with farmer's cheese and potato, and with mushrooms and sauerkraut, all topped with caramelized onions with a side of thick, fresh sour cream....
