We were visiting Bellingham. Our daughter told us about a creperie she'd liked but couldn't remember the name. We couldn't find it on the web, but did happen upon Magdalena's which is in Fairhaven, a quaint suburb where we planned to stop anyway. We decided to give it a try and it was wonderful. Inventive crepes, savory and dessert, fresh and delicious. We shared a veggie crepe, made properly with buckwheat; potato and cheese perogi, and a smoked salmon, avocado, sun dried tomato, and horse radish creme baguette. We were too full for a dessert crepe, alas. Very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality. And Magdalena proved lively, personable, and charming. The cuisine is basically Polish, but lightened and re-invented. I took some photos for TripAdvisor readers. Almost worth a trip from Seattle.

Excellent variety of healthy and sweet crepes, good service, great Stumptown coffee. In Fairhaven district, a great place to start your day checking out this gem of a neighborhood.

We've been to this place several times now and the food has been great every time, and so has the coffee. The service has been excellent. It's in a small little spot in Fairhaven and they've made a nice little restaurant. Worth returning to more than once when you're taking a stroll through the shopping area.

We found that by accident we checked into the Villiage Inn on a day that Magdalena's served a dinner meal. Unfortunately we did not try the crepes, but if what we were served is any indication, the crepes would not be disappointing. We had the most wonderful meal there and for dessert, a chocolate pavlova! It was a very special... More

My husband and I were in Bellingham for a wedding in July, 2015. We stayed overnight and on Sunday, explored the lovely old section of the area called Fairhaven (south of main town). There are bookstores, art galleries (Avery cool woodworker's co-op) and several eateries. We wanted brunch and walked into Magdelina's. No wait for seating and a very friendly... More

My daughter really wanted to have pierogie, after travelling throughout Poland this summer. We were very excited to try them and although we had already heard the staff was rude, well we just decided to risk it and went anyway with smilng faces and a positive attitude. We were wrong!!!! I really don't think pierogie were meant to be blackend.... More

My friend and I went to this restaurant at 2 p.m. on November 11 a holiday. We walked by at 11 a.m. and noticed how busy it was but we came after a 5 mile walk first and got to the restaurant at the end of the busy hour at 2p.m. The restaurant by then was half empty. We were... More

Ended up here after our original breakfast plans fell through, but oh what a gem! It's an adorable little place with a wonderful ambience. They have french press coffee or an espresso bar, as well as Polish beers, which was awesome. There are both sweet and savory crepes, in addition to sandwiches, pirogis, soup, desserts, and more. Everything on the... More

This restaurant was recommended to us as we were shopping in Bellingham for the first time. We were so blessed. We had the special cauliflower soup, the perogie special of the day - they were both delicious. The coffee was great - hot French press!! I highly recommend this restaurant - food was piping hot, fresh and unique. Thanks for... More
