We were visiting Bellingham. Our daughter told us about a creperie she'd liked but couldn't remember the name. We couldn't find it on the web, but did happen upon Magdalena's which is in Fairhaven, a quaint suburb where we planned to stop anyway. We decided to give it a try and it was wonderful. Inventive crepes, savory and dessert, fresh and delicious. We shared a veggie crepe, made properly with buckwheat; potato and cheese perogi, and a smoked salmon, avocado, sun dried tomato, and horse radish creme baguette. We were too full for a dessert crepe, alas. Very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality. And Magdalena proved lively, personable, and charming. The cuisine is basically Polish, but lightened and re-invented. I took some photos for TripAdvisor readers. Almost worth a trip from Seattle.

Interesting taste combinations

I love crepes with savory filling, and this place has a menu full of options. The portion size is big enough to fill a very hungry person, or to allow for great leftovers. A favorite breakfast and lunch spot.

We love Magda's. The crepes are wonderful, often made with fresh, local ingredients and herbs from Magda's garden. Magda is a delight and she has a wonderful staff. The restaurant is small, comfortable, and inviting in every way. It's a favorite for both locals and tourists. Highly recommended for a wonderful breakfast or lunch.

Sweet and savoury crepes - all delicious. The restaurant appears popular with locals and visitors alike. (There's some interesting Polish themed folk art on the tables.)

We walked here for breakfast from the Chrysalis Inn and had a very pleasant meal. The crepes weren't as I expected since they were crispy instead of soft and my savory crepe was served openfaced.

Located in historic Fairhaven, Magdalena's Creperie is a wonderful place for breakfast or lunch. Their crepes are full of flavor and they always have a couple daily specials. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the location is perfect - right off the main drag of town. Grab your appetite and find this little gem. Do remember that they are... More

For the one meal we ate in this charming, little town, we think we picked the best place. The crepes are huge, fresh, and innovative. We ate outside and enjoyed the views and ambiance of this town, and had a friendly, efficient server. This restaurant is an asset to this town.

Ah, buckwheat crepes (gluten free). Be still my heart. And in a cute little restaurant. It (the crepe, not the restaurant) was large and tasty, open face, folded into a square. It was the thinnest crepe I have ever seen, such that it was actually crisp around the edges. We like going to Fairhaven area of Belligham and walking around,... More

Pierogies to die for! Great coffee, too! My favorite breakfast in Bellingham. My family also loves the crepes. Wonderful food & service!

Very cozy spot with wonderful food. Wish we'd tried it for dinner instead of just coffee and a crepe.

To be fair to the establishment, I am only reviewing the gluten free #25 Avocado, salmon, zucchini crepe I had. I have a sophisticated palate, Andy opinion of the dish I ordered is that it needs improvement. The crepe itself was so see thru thin and crispy, it was not tasty at all. The ingredients were not well selected and... More
