The po boy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries was very tasty, and the huge spicy bloody mary went down a treat! Nice place to sit outside for lunch and watch the world go by.

I want to love this place. I've been a couple times for dinner and drinks with friends and they have a spectacular patio and excellent cocktails. But the food-- the food is sadly irregular. The hush puppies were delicious, the fried chicken sandwich just alright. The BBQ pork was a little on the dry side. I found most of their... More

Service was good but food was nothing special. The chicken on a caesar salad was so dry, it could barely be eaten. The skewers were good but the rice and beans it was on was flavorless and the beans did not appear cooked thoroughly. Gumbo all you could taste was the seasoning. The steak however, was great. Great to sit... More

My sister and I came here for our night on the town in downtown Bellingham! The New Orleans style Bloody Mary was the best I ever had, with jalapeño infused vodka (yum!) From there we each enjoyed a oyster shooter which delicious as well and shared the pan fried oyster poorboy (oysters are my favorite). Everything from the oysters, mac... More

Tried to get in there during Wednesday night concert nite but wait was too long so came back on Friday. Nice outdoor seating areas, cool breezes as sun set. Good conversation with the door guard, and others seated outside nearby. Husband had jambalaya which he thought was just ok and a side of mac and cheese which he loved.. I... More

I wrote a glowing review in Jan 13' and revisited July 14'.What a TERRIBLE DISAPPOINTMENT..by far this was the worst gumbo I have ever had...absolutely no flavor. had plenty of chicken and sausage and fixed like New Orleans with a nice "clump" of white rice in the middle but the taste was like "NOTHING". Either they have changed their recipe... More

Had a great Sunday brunch for ten people on Fathers Day. Food, service and the Bloody Mary bar were all top notch.

I went here for the first time with a friend who had been numerous times. She said it was "hit or miss" with both good and not so good meals. She was up for going back and giving it another shot. I'm pleased to say that our meal was quite good. We both had the blackened catfish sandwich with sweet... More

This restaurant is in the older part of Bellingham and has great character with the quirky decor and floors. The food was outstanding! We had oyster shooters, crab cakes, the special which was shrimp and steak and a classic - shrimp and grits. Each dish tasted so good and also different from the other one. We had a bit of... More
