We have for the past three years or so been frequent visitors to The Boundary Bay Brewing Company. On our last visit we asked our server for a recommendation to some other brew pubs we were unaware of. The Copper Hog was one of her top. This is an upscale brew pub, which serves an all day pub menu, a happy... More

Fried chicken dish was burnt as well as the burger royal...if you're paying $13 for a burger, it should be cooked to order or $17 for a fried chicken dish. Every kitchen has a bad night, but when you're wait staff tells the customer, it's supposed to look like that, just try it you'll like it. When I taste charcoal... More

We just had a short time for dining, and decided to stop here. We figured with a name like this, they must have good Pulled Pork sandwiches, and indeed they did! Perfectly tender, perfect barbecue spice, served on fresh made beautiful rolls with a house-made sautéed red cabbage topping. I made a definite pig of myself on the French Fries!... More

We visited the Copper Hog for the first time in September. Nice Pub style design and feel with a nice location in Bellingham. We shared a PNW house salad that has smoke Apples, Blue Cheese and a Vinaigrette that we thought was excellent. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich with ginger slaw that she rated above average. I had... More

I was looking forward to our visit, because I was pretty excited that they had traditional southern-fried chicken on the menu (i.e. NOT chicken tenders or just breast meat), a menu item that seems to be inexplicably hard to find in the Northwest. My order came with really tasty mashed potatoes and bacon-sauteed Kale 'Collard Greens', and the chicken was... More

A nice, friendly atmosphere, kinda pub like only larger. The Hoisin glazed spare ribs are to die for!! Lots of food and a good price. Located in downtown Bellingham.

We enjoyed every aspect of our visit to the Copper Hog. The beer list was excellent - about 12 carefully chosen craft beers on tap. My husband's pulled pork sandwich with its ancho chili based sauce was one of the best either one of us has ever tasted, and the accompanying fries were also exceptional. I ordered the fried Brussels... More

We were here with two other couples for an early dinner and ended up ordering a table full of appetizers to share. There weren't many other people in the place yet our server seemed to have other things to do rather than pay attention to what we needed. The food was good, ribs and pork roll, oysters and salads but... More

Family friendly restaurant downtown Bellingham! My sister and her boyfriend took to this place on our first night in Bellingham and the food really hit the spot! I'd never had duck before and so I ordered the duck hash, it was really tasty! Everyone else in the party really enjoyed their food as well, they even have a kids menu!... More

Can't understand the raves. Bad service. Icky solids at the bottom of coffee cup. Mystery meat in veggie omelet. Hockey-puck English muffin. Lingering "I ate a bowling ball" feeling.
