Really enjoyed the curry

The portion size was quite large, probably enough to share unless you're really hungry, and everything was hot and delicious. They can moderate the spice for you, so don't worry about it being too spicy. In fact I'd kick it up a notch if I went again. The service was excellent, while the atmosphere... read more

I've had a lot of pho (from Vancouver to Vietnam) and I have to say, this pho tasted off. It was saltier than most I've had and tasted different. Pho should have a 'beef'y taste and this tasted more like the green basil/parsley that was in it. Not to say it was inedible but just different than most phos. Unfortunately,... More

It took us a couple of different tries to finally be able to experience it. Even though the hours of operation were posted on their door, the first time we went it was closed. Normally we would move on and find something else. The location of this place just made us want to continue to try. So when we finally... More

We love this place. Everything is always hot and fresh and very flavorful. Love the Bun. Been going here for years, starting on the Bakerview location. Then they closed it to open the downtown location, and now both are open again. Not sure what the haters have to hate about this place. In general dining in Bellingham is pretty poor,... More

I've been to Soy House 3 times now. I had the 2 types of Pho and the Yellow Curry. They were all delicious! I'm a Korean American but have never eaten Vietnamese Cuisine before so I can't really rate the authenticity of it's food. Regardless, it tasted delicious! They use fresh quality ingredients and the dishes have a fresh flavor;... More

We tried this place twice to be fair. We have now sampled a dozen dishes. The only one we weren't turned off by was the pizza. Strange, since the Vietnamese are not known for their pizza. The soups and stir-fries were American versions of the real thing, and as such, lacked flavor. The portions were small, but the servers were... More

We were up in Bellingham on a Sunday night and thought we would take our Granddaughter to the Soy House. We went to the original location but they were closed. We then went to the new location closer to downtown and they were open and busy. We had to wait for a few minutes to get a table. The food... More

I've been waiting for the new location of Soy House to open in Bellingham, on W. Holly St., ever since it was announced earlier this year. The new space is airy and quite large, but the tile floor and hard surfaced walls and ceiling make it very noisy. A friend and I went at late lunch hour, and the place... More

Went with 10 people, six of which were children. Great that they have a variety of food not just Vietnamese. Everyone was happy and service was good. We went to the new location on Holley.

This was the worst meal experience I have had in Bellingham or anywhere in a long time. If you like bean sprouts and cilantro, you might like it. They put that on and in everything. I am okay with those ingredients but they over do it. The wait for a table was over a half hour, yet there were empty... More
