Best pho soup in town especially the veggie noodle pho with fried tofu and the won ton is excellent. I also love the Vietnamese pizza and sandwiches. Entrees are good too. They recently opened a second location in Belligham so that is a good sign.

My Husband and I ate here on a recent trip to Bellingham. I had shrimp pho that was good but not outstanding. My husband tried the coconut curry. I had one small taste and it was good but a little salty. I'm giving this a 4 because they had one waitress that was covering the whole dining room in a... More

I've been to the Holly Street location a few times now. The service has always been very good and I think the interior is quite lovely. The location and parking are both a plus for me. It is one of the two places that I can get Hu Tieu which is a favorite of mine. I do doctor it up... More

Soy House (the original) has never had the best pho in Bellingham (as others have noted, a tendency toward blandness), but it had the cleanest and most cheerful dining room of any I've been to so it became a favorite lunch spot on a cold day. Hadn't been back since the downtown location opened, until yesterday. And it's not the... More

Stopped over for lunch while driving between Vancouver and Seattle. Easy access to I-5. Good lemongrass pork banh mi. The BBQ Pork banh mi wasn't quite as good, but not bad either. Spring rolls are better than yam fries as a side dish. Nice lunch for a road trip.

First off this is not real Vietnamese food. Anyone who thinks it is needs to visit either Vietnam, NYC, or some places in Vancouver. The food has absolutely no taste and bland. A restaurant like this should not flourish and the downtown spot is worse than the orginal.

The food was very good and inexpensive. The service was excellent. It wasn't terribly exciting but it was well-prepared and a lot of food for the money.

I've had a lot of pho (from Vancouver to Vietnam) and I have to say, this pho tasted off. It was saltier than most I've had and tasted different. Pho should have a 'beef'y taste and this tasted more like the green basil/parsley that was in it. Not to say it was inedible but just different than most phos. Unfortunately,... More

The portion size was quite large, probably enough to share unless you're really hungry, and everything was hot and delicious. They can moderate the spice for you, so don't worry about it being too spicy. In fact I'd kick it up a notch if I went again. The service was excellent, while the atmosphere was okay. It felt like a... More

It took us a couple of different tries to finally be able to experience it. Even though the hours of operation were posted on their door, the first time we went it was closed. Normally we would move on and find something else. The location of this place just made us want to continue to try. So when we finally... More
