Hearthfire is a local happy hour favorite--so arrive early to get a table or seat at the bar. Fabulous views of the Bay and Islands. Food is excellent, and wait staff friendly and responsive.

We went there with a party of four on a sunny Saturday afternoon. We got there at 1:30 PM and had our pick of outdoor tables. Service was great-- the staff was attentive to our needs and allowed us to linger well past our meal. While Anthony’s fare is standardized, everything was done well and enjoyed by all. The Hearthfire... More

We enjoyed an evening meal at Anthony's during a short stay in Bellingham. We were recommended to it by the front desk clerk at The Comfort Inn and thankful for the suggestion. The restaurant is on the Port of Bellingham. Who knew this existed? I thought Bellingham was just a shopping town! A pretty little area with the marina and... More

We came from Gig Harbor (where we eat out nearly every night) and stopped in at the Hearthfire. Went in for an early dinner although the last time we were in Bellingham (five yrs ago) this restaurant had a different name. Our meal was absolutely the best. My husband had cod that was so good - we had to ask... More

Great setting, especially at sunset as the dining room looks out over the harbour to the west. Service was great and the food well priced and cooked. I had my first ever bottle of Washington wine, and it was superb. If you are in Bellingham try this place, you won't be disappointed.

I went there with my family and friends. The atmosphere was nice, but the price was high for such a small portion. It was a Saturday night and we had to wait for a long time for our foods. Food was okay, not impressive. My pasta was warm, my husband's steak was so small that he had to order one... More

Really disappointed with portions and the shrimp cocktail was gross and slimy...but awesome views and good service and great Caesar salad. Best part is location... Happy hour is totally worth it.

What happened to this lovely restaurant I used to frequent and love? Decided on a special lunch here because it was always so wonderful. What a change! The food was underdone, and overdone on the same plate. It was greasy and over salted. Our server was nice enough but clearly didn't know the menu well. After talking this place up... More

Food good, service very poor, amount of food left much to be desired, prices high. Probably won't go back. Phyllis

We took our two friends from Hawaii who are visiting Washington to a special lunch there. They are elderly and we hadn't seen them for quite some time. The lunch at Anthony's Hearthfile Grill has many things going for it, but not everything we had wanted as a "special" lunch. To begin, the service was a little slow: water should... More
