My husband and I visited over Memorial Day weekend. I have been several times but it was his first visit. The service was very good but the food was disappointing. The shrimp, crab and corn on the cob were all over-cooked and reminded me more of buffet food...not nearly as good as my past visits.

We went with about 20 people. This is a good place for a whack-your-food-with-a-mallet meal. Plan to get messy and drink a lot of beer. The food was OK, the staff very helpful, the beer, great.

I was looking forward to some fresh seafood while visiting back home for a meeting, unfortunately the quality of the food, especially the dungeoness crab, was sub par. How hard is it to get fresh crab and cook it properly.....I had the crab and salmon combo. The crab was dry-overcooked and tasted like seafood I could have had back in... More

Cozy and warm place with decent food. Not too expensive and I think worth the price. Our server was very attentive and even let us order something that was not on the menu (but had once been).

In Seattle for a long weekend so was looking for really good seafood. This place was nice but nothing special. My clam chowder was lukewarm. My husband had the salmon chowder - tasted better, but also not too warm. Fish tacos were tasty. Seems their specialty is the seafood boil - shellfish, corn, potatoes - all piled on the table.

Went to the one in Bellevue. It was a little pricey but we were expecting it. I had a good time slamming my gavel on the table cracking crab legs. The food was yummy and the service was excellent.

You have to like this type of place, but if you do, it is great. Basically order your food by the bucket and they dump it on the table and you beat it with a mallet. We had the best bucket - king, snow and dungeoness crab, steamed mussels, clams, shrimp, red skin potatoes, and corn. Ooh la la! That... More
