Based on the reviews for this restaurant, I figured I would give them a shot, despite the fact that there are closer sushi restaurants. I got the Chirashizushi to go, so I cannot say much about the restauarant. The portion size was smaller than I am used to, especially for the price. The fish was fresh, but no fresher than... More

We enjoyed our lunch here. The warm appetizer of mushroom stuffed with shrimp was a delight. We ordered 5 sushi items. The rice was superb. Maybe the best sushi rice we have had. Our rolls were between 8 and 10 dollars each, so the lunch got expensive. Dinner price would be the same so for dinner the cost would feel... More

Flo is one of my favorite sushi destinations and I always make a point to get there when in Bellevue. The seaweed salad, with four or five varieties of seaweed in a light "Japanese" flavored vinaigrette is simple yet exceptional. Nigiri sushi of various varieties is always quite tasty. When looking for something non-sushi, entrees (such as a duck confit)... More

This is a modest-looking place in Bellevue with very good food. I had the black cod, which was perfectly done. I also had a taste of the tuna carpaccio, which was slivers of raw tuna will olive oil and micro-greens/red onion shavings on it. That was also excellent. They serve their sake in bamboo carafes and the service is excellent.

I am so happy with this restaurant. I visit Seattle at least three times a year, and rarely get to have sushi here. I always stay on the east side, and this time, did a little research. All positive reviews were correct! this place is upscale with not upscale prices. I sat at the sushi bar and was entertained by... More

I had heard that Flo was the best Japanese restaurant in Bellevue and wanted to try lunch first. My wife is Japanese and I lived in Japan for eleven years so I think we can judge fairly. Overall, lunch was very good, but the miso soup was really substandard....seemed almost to be from a mix, very salty and plain.........embarassing for... More

This is not a traditional Japanese restaurant that serves old stand-by menu with the traditional cooking. Rather, it is a comnbination of the traditional and nouveau Japanese offerings on their menu. It is nice to see and taste traditional Japanese food with a new perspectives. The breadth of their menu accommodates wide variety of choices and should meet various palates.... More

Beautiful setting and very fresh sushi and other menu items. The albacore sashimi melted in our mouths. My husband had an item that wasn't on the menu but he saw it served to someone else and they brought him some. This is the real deal.

Had a sashimi plate and a special roll. Both really fabulous. Make sure you book in advance or ready to wait for the table. I came ~ 7 pm, and had to wait 15 min for a bar place, it was worth though...

Had planned to stop elsewhere for dinner but they wanted us to wait and we didn't want to so my wife suggested Flo's. Funny how you seem to forget about the restaurants close to home. Stopped in and got the last table and we were very impressed with the meal. We were only looking for something light, like pot-stickers (they... More
