Good Sushi :: Great Service

We had dinner here on a Thursday night. We sat at the sushi bar and had wonderful service and everything we ordered was delish. While some of the items on the menu are overpriced the sushi chefs are generous in their cuts.

Only ever eaten here with colleagues for lunch. The bento box is a pretty good deal and the fish is always fresh and tasty. Definitely one of my favorite sushi places. Parking can be hard to find but there is limited free street parking on a dead-end street directly behind the building.

We made dinner reservations here on a Saturday night, but probably didn't need to. The restaurant was not very full, and we were seated immediately. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had a small bottle of sake, an appetizer, chicken teriyaki with vegetables, and a couple of sushi rolls. The sushi was fresh, but served in... More

We drive across the water to come to Flo when we want a full service Sushi experience. The Sushi is always super fresh and extremely well prepared. They have a wide menu and almost perfect service. The ambiance is luxurious without being pretentious. Yes, it's expensive, but top notch sushi is worth it. My only complaint, the only chink in... More

We went to Flo(w) with a group of 10 people and the overall experience was great! Very friendly staff and an extremely delicious variety of food ranging from traditional servings like Horenso Gomae, Gyoza, Sashimi, Nigiri, Chirashi and soups to "modern" sushi with carpaccios and all kinds of rolls. For the enthusiasts: (o-)Toro and Uni wasn't just a "marketing item"... More

This was my second visit to this restaurant as our friends love it and wanted to go there. Admittedly I am not a sushi lover, but I can do tempura and shrimp and some rice etc, but I cannot comment on the raw fish. However, my husband and friends think its great. So my observations come from a NON raw... More

We started with the daikon miso soup and edamame. Well balanced flavors and textures, presentation was perfect. Next were the in-house made gyoza (pork and vegetables), scallop, king crap and fresh water eel nigiri and a wonderful rainbow roll. All were really good, unagi is a hard flavor to balance well and they did a great job. For "dessert" we... More

This is really the best cuts of sushi and sashimi available on the east side. Good sized cuts of fish that are fresh. The calamari app is light and delicious. And the hamachi carpaccio app flavorful. But ultimately it's the sushi and sashimi that is fresh and excellent. Love this place.

The food was really good and our server was pretty awesome too. I'm pretty sure his name was Karl. Thanks for the saki recommendations too! You won't be disappointed by going here. It was couples and a 2 year old that we came with. It wasn't a mind blowing experience but to be downright honest if your in the mood... More
