This place came highly recommended, but we were extremely disappointed. Some of the worst sushi I have had in a very long time. I'd rather just get it at a grocery store. Such a letdown
As a regular customer at the I Love Sushi on Lake Union in Seattle, my wife and I decided to stop by the I Love Sushi in Bellevue while we were out on Sunday. We did not have reservations, and when we requested to sit at the sushi bar where we could easily see there were over six vacant seats,... More
Was visiting my Dad in the hospital and needed a break. Walked a short distance to I Love Sushi and was pleasantly surprised. Sat at the counter and had a fun conversation with the Chef's. It was after the lunch rush, so they had time to make recommendations and let me taste a couple items. I recommend that you give... More
Have been to I Love Sushi twice in the last month, for lunch and dinner. The teriyaki chicken bento box at lunch was disappointing - chicken was dry. We were told to order the fish bento box, that it was much superior. Dinner was outstanding. Don't miss the Russell Roll. Not on the menu but it has grilled salmon, roe... More
The restaurant is small and cramped. Waitresses are brief when they stop by...key word "when". Sushi was OK. Nothing amazing. I would not go back here again but it was busy so I guess some people do. Not worth another they from me though. Overall disappointed.
The owners are very friendly and the food is good. She really tries to get to know the people who come in and remembers names. She even puts an occasional extra treat. Her food quality is a bit better than most Teriyaki restaurants. They are worth the visit.
I was underwhelmed by the offerings at I Love Sushi and a bit put off by the location in general. The parking lots and entrance to the restaurant had signs warning you about leaving items in your car which gave me the impression we had made a wrong choice in choosing I love Sushi for dinner. The meal was fine... More
We have eaten here a few times and this is our local go to place for good sushi. It is always good, but is a little more expensive than your average sushi place. Not too expensive and definitely worth it.
My regular restaurant for Japanese food in Washington. The servers recognized me and even the dishes that I ordered last time, though I completely forgot about them. Great view and fantastic food.
