I ordered BBQ pork ribs and baked beans and Jeannie ordered a chicken sandwich with red beans /rice. The ribs were in a steel catering pan totally covered by a liquid broth. They were terrible!!! Dixie's is a place to go for attitude and their optional absurdly hot sauce. The flavor is OK, cornbread good, prices OK. more
My friend from Georgia grants little respect to most barbeque joints in the PacNW, but he's got love for Dixie's. I agree. Beware the Man. He's more than you can handle. more
I've only had the pulled pork in BBQ sauce on a bun. It was great! I was all hyped up to meet "the man", but it wasn't as spicy as I expected it to be. I need the whole pot! more
Dixie is a Pain in the @%# but the food is good. The Man sauce has serious heat but lacks taste. Pork is some of the best anywhere!!! more
