Very good food less the attitude more
After reading all of the reviews, I arrived with much anticiaption. And then my journey through hell started. Yes, we were seated promptly. Then the terrible service started. It took them 20 minutes to ask for our drink orders. Two martinis and a manhattan. Every other bar in the US shakes or stirs with ice. Apparently, not here. All three... more
Went here for Valentine's Day and was blown away by the food, atmosphere and quality of service. We had 9pm reservations and they were still very busy at that time, but managed to get seated by 9:10. Our waiter was very attentative, made sure our drinks were always full and took our orders for appetizers and the main course as... more
Good things first, the steaks were very good. Perfect medium rare, as expected the waiter asked us immediately if our steaks were done to our satisfaction. First class appetizer/happy hour - food is always excellent - recently (Feb 09) the level of service in the dining room has taken a hit - understand they laid off part of their staff - so bring patience. more
I order the same thing everytime. Petite Filet Mignon (Well Done) and Vahlrona Chocolate Souffle. Daniel's has the most consistent flavor of steak, in my opinion. more
This is the best steakhouse in Washington. Service is great, as is the food. I've never been disappointed when we've dined there. What I like most of all everytime everything is consistant. I'll be back. more
Everytime I am in Bellevue, I have to go to Daniel's. This is the best steakhouse and best restaurant in Bellevue in my opinion if you can afford the menu. I always enjoy the Daniel's prime rib eye 16oz (approx $46) Wine I got was excellent and the view from the 21st floor is wonderful (try to get a table... more
I've eaten @ Daniel's three times, all private affairs. Each time, the steak was very undercooked (I asked for medium well and it was very pink - almost red). The view is great and the staff is friendly, but I thought the meat was definitely overrated, especially for the very high prices. more
Expensive, but worthwhile experience. Amazing food and view. You must have the Steakhouse Spinach creamed with bacon and onions. more
