Best fish restaurant in Seattle area

Absolutely the top of the line for fish in the Seattle area, pretty tough competition considering the fresh fish in the NW. Have eaten there many times and the food is always perfect. Great wine list and service too.

A delicious meal topped only by the fabulous service we received. I especially appreciated the gluten free menu options!

I have dined here many times in the past but usually when on business (when someone else was paying). On a leisure trip to Seattle, I thought it worth the effort to cross Lake Washington to show off Seastar and I am glad I did. First of all, whilst Seastar has great food and the interiors are well decorated I... More

Beautiful Alaskan Salmon dish, great servers, not pushy and one of the few restaurants that served Lattes after dinner.

Seastar has an outstanding menu, an easily accessible location and room for enough privacy to have a business discussion without much concern that others are listening. The fish selections were outstanding. I had fresh halibut with garden green salad that was excellent. I've put it on my favorites list.

Handmade, exactly to my liking. Fresh, large portions, excellent quality! We've eaten as SeaStar many times over the years and it's consistant, exceeding expectations.

Rarely do I say I had a perfect experience at a restaurant but today it happened. We went to the Seastar to celebrate a birthday and couldn't have picked a better place. Valet parking was easy and the attendant friendly and efficient. Our server, Tiffany, was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. We don't usually... More

i believe seastar is very well known in bellevue for the seafood they serve which was obvious, walking into a fully booked restaurant on a monday evening. i had deviled eggs served on a bed of shredded white radish and carrots, half the portion with gravalx, wasabi tobikko and dill, the other half with ahi tartere, bacon, roasted onion, truffle... While in the area on business we wanted a great dinner to top off a successful week. Looking at reviews I chose this place despite no reservations, and hoped for bar seats. We were treated as if regulars, and placed in a fantastic seat that came open. The oysters were crisp and fresh, and the crab, fish lived up to... More

I have to clarify I am Italian and quite picky about food and wine, so this indeed does not help this establishment. Service is great, very attentive and quick but overall the food seems ordinary. I was expecting an outstanding sea food experience (being in Seattle) but I actually just got normal restaurant sea food, nothing memorable. Dessert was very... More
