Excellent scallops I had a wonderful halibut and my companion a fine piece of salmon plus a decent bottle of Washington State Sauvignon Blanc

We celebrated our anniversary at Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar and everything was just about perfect. Food was tasty and imaginative but most of all, service was excellent. Our server Michelle was most attentive even though the restaurant was quite busy. She took her time to explain the menu to us and her recommendations were spot on. We'd definitely recommend... More

Nice restaurant with good wine list and menu but not WOW for the price they charge for. Service was outstanding. Have been there twice with my husband for romantic dinners.

I have been meaning to try the Seastar for sometime now and when a business meeting nearby ended in dinner made reservations here. While it is pricey taking advantage of the area the service was very good and the seafood selection fresh and varied that coupled with an excellent wine list made for a successful dinner meeting. The diners seemed... More

The sushi and sashimi were some of the best I've had. Very good sweet and sour soup. We would also recommend the oysters. We were there on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was crowded, but the service was great. They gladly accommodated our special requests. Low cost ($7) valet parking next door.

We stayed at the Pan Pacific. We typically avoid restaurants in hotels but we're very pleasantly surprised by Seastar. The food was excellent - a good choice of sushi, sashimi and seafood. The service was outstanding. Will come again next time we're in Seattle.

This may sound a bit psychotic .. but I had dinner at Seastar three times in one week! twice in the restaurant, and once in the bar! Why? The food was great.. and good setting for a business dinner. I experienced a wide range of the menu over three sessions consisting of starters, mains & desserts. Service is good to... More

Good selection of seafood, nice bar. Since you're in Seattle there's no pretense to having to dress up to get a good meal (jeans worked fine).

I might have given this restaurant a better score except for the crazy high ratings it gets from others. Calamari Poppers are tough and the spice is not right. Too far forward for a spicy tuna filling. Pepper crusted tuna was pedestrian, nothing more. Service was just okay, nothing special and a little too familiar as in "hey bud" though... More
