Excellent Sashimi

We had a business dinner for 8. We shared an excellent platter of mixed sushi and sashimi. The fish was very fresh and tasty. Next was the Dungeness fish cakes - delicious. I enjoyed my salmon and several of the team loved the lobster mac and cheese. Service was excellent and there was a great... read more

We dined at Seastar Restaurant for our birthday. The staff bent over backward to serve us. The food was awesome. Recipes we've never had before. We highly recommend it.

Ever since Seastar opened, we have enjoyed the lunches and dinners. Of course I have favorites, but whenever we go with friends, it is a great chance for new tastes. Never disappointed. Only serious problem: what should I order this time???

Just went to the Seastar for drinks. The bar is very nice, a very comfortable place to conduct business. Service was excellent. Noise level was low (with the exception of one group of joke tellers laughing). Only downside - you pay for the ambiance. Drinks were a bit pricey.

Going here is like walking into a dream or some kind of surreal movie. The place is full the prices are crazy, and folks all thinking somehow this is fine dining? it is truly awful. Been here now 4 times. Lunch and dinner. Seattle is home to some of the finest seafood in the world. Why would anyone feel the... More

My daughter found this place while searching for a place to go eat for her birthday. It.Was.Amazing! I had no idea it was a John Howie restaurant so that's a first for me too. I would have given it 5 stars except the Salmon Poke was way over-seasoned. But other than that our food was excellent! We even ordered Creme... More

Yes, I know it's not slurping raw oysters on the coast, or putting live crabs into a boiling pot on the beach, or cracking open that fresh razor clam right after you dug it up.. but if you are looking for some of the finest seafood fares around, Seastar is the place to go. A great venue for family gatherings... More

Good food and great presentation. The portion size is small. The taste is very good. Seafood is fresh. A bit on the expensive side.

Never got any bad dishes at this place. Seafood is always fresh. Park underneath the structure and you can have the parking ticket validated. Menu changes so I am not putting down my recommendation here
