It is with great sadness that I write this review. Seastar has been one of our top restaurants in the Seattle area. We have gone there for our annual end of year family dinner at the end of the year for 7 years. We have suggested it to others on numerous occasions. It is one we used to count on.... More

Great menu and terrific seafood. Service is gracious, but a bit slow. A very nice place as a couple or for entertaining.

Seastar is a great place for a business lunch. Their service is always on top of it. They are professional and quick but never rushed. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable without being overly fancy. Best of all the menu offers many Northwest favorites at a reasonable price.

Seastar is located in a beautiful downtown Bellevue building. The ambience is inviting and cozy which allows you to enjoy a romantic evening, or to dine with family and friends. The restaurant accommodates varied size groups comfortably. A separate oyster bar and cocktail area for those wanting a smaller meal. Casual, or dressy, a perfect place to meet with friends,... Had great dinner 1/3/2015. The fish was great, the roasted vegetables and clams worth ordering. One of the best restaurants in Bellevue.

My crew went to Seastar for a New Years celebration dinner. It's a beautiful environment, very relaxing, nice low lighting, attentive staff. One of the wait staff asked to check my coat since it had fallen off the chair. Very nice. Unfortunately, the food was below par for this caliber of restaurant. It was very salty and one of my... Restaurants that have been around for a long time, such as Seastar, sometimes lose their edge and freshness. Seastar has managed to keep their vibe alive with exceptional seafood, ambiance, and professional service. In this business, that is somewhat remarkable and Seastar deserves the credit and should deserve your consideration.

I've been going to Bellevue on business for many, many years. Each time I've tried to visit the Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar in Bellevue. The food is outstanding, the service friendly and accomodating, and the ambiance is tremendous. I don't hesitate to take customers there for a business lunch/dinner, and I've never been disappointed or embarrassed.

I loved it and my DW wasn't as excited. She enjoyed the Hartford Chardonnay but thought her crab and corn soup was just okay. It wasn't warm enough and barely any corn. Her macadamia nut Mahi Mahi was delicious but the rice served was lukewarm. Enjoyable but for the price she was disappointed. I had the scallop ceviche starter. Nicely... More

I have visited this restaurant numerous times and have been impressed each time. The waiter service is second to none. Each dish I have ordered has been cooked perfectly and been made in a very timely manner- without being rushed. The sushi is amazing The cocktails and wine list are also in a league of their own as far as... More
