Excellent food and service

Excellent food, excellent service. Really good size portion and my cedar plank salmon was cooked perfectly. I have also had the prosciutto wrapped scallops. DELISH!! Highly recommend if you are in the area, but definitely make dinner reservations, it is quite busy after work.

Been here twice for Bday dinners and both times were very good. Wait staff is good, food is packed full of flavor and desserts were delicious!

I am sure that I would have had a different impression if we dined here as part of a business expenditure, working meal. This restaurant's mission is to serve this clientele. Has the look and feel of a mid-town steak house. Incredibly expensive - yes, the food is good, bit not THAT good! Small servings. Everything a la carte. The... More

This is a high end seafood restaurant that emphasizes locally grown and sustainable ingredients. There are never any specials. The menu is everything. And what a menu! Cold and hot starters, including fresh sushi. A variety of interesting salads, and many different seafood choices for entrees. It's hard to go wrong here. Try the ahi or salmon poke appetizers. We went here for a business dinner recently. I can not say enough good things about the food the staff and the environment. You would not expect a restaurant in a high-rise office building to be so good, but this place really does a great job. The seafood was fresh and tasty, oysters on point, desserts decadent. If you are... More

I live in Downtown Bellevue, so we go out all the time. We have tried this place several times on company tabs, family tabs, and our own tabs. Every time I leave disappointed and question how this could possibly be a John Howie restaurant. The wait staff is terrible, the environment is mediocre, the food is awful. Honestly I rather... We had a very pleasant dinner with friends at Seastar. They have an impressive entree selection from the sea and everything ordered at our table was outstanding (salmon, halibut and scallops). The salads are inventive, fresh and very tasty. Our hosts brought the wine which was Seastar served nicely chilled for a fee. Validated parking is included in the higher... More
