My husband and I were staying in a hotel and were fed up of the hotel restaurants. It was so nice to find this breakfast place. It felt great, had wonderful decor and really good coffee. I see a lot of people complain about the price but I dare you to go to a hotel restaurant and you'd be happy... More

I really like this place. The tomato soup is especially yummy, as are the salads and the matzoh ball soup. I was charged $2.50 for a coke. That was a shock. You order at the counter and they deliver, pretty speedily.

We were a party of 8 adults and 4 children in town for a wedding and were happy to find this little place for breakfast on our first day. There was room for all of us outdoors on a beautiful morning. You order your food inside, (there is some seating indoors too), and. it is delivered to your table. Everyone... More

The food is amazing hands down, no questions asked. The pastrami is the best I've ever had and the pear spinach salad keeps you craving more. I don't know of anyone who has had a bad food experience here. Just be prepared to spend. Somehow my husband and I cannot leave this place without dropping $50 on food. Sandwiches run... More

The food is fantastic, but be prepared to pay for the wonderfully large portions of beautifully prepared foods.

This is a great little restaurant in Old Bellevue for breakfast or lunch. Weekday prices are especially competitive. You can have a micro-scramble or omelet for $5.99, mini pancake and egg for $4.99, and larger offerings for larger prices. Everything is served very fresh and very ample. Many dishes are large enough to share. Sandwiches and salads are piled sky... More

For a small Matso Ball soup that tasted like dog p i s s and almost $15 I call it most m u r d e r o u s! How did this place lasted as long as they did? Geez, the servers and people behind the counter either need to take some nice pills or attend anger management classes!... More

I don't mind a restaurant being proud of their food until their prices are grossly out of line for what you get. Their side of potato salad was dry and almost unedible, but the sandwich itself was pretty good.

Gilbert's was recommended to us by the concierge at the Westin, who said it had wonderful food, and a nice neighbourhood atmosphere. He was right! There were lots of wonderful choices for omelets, french toast, pancakes and bagels. Ordering is done at the counter, and then food is brought to your table. The food was delicious, coffee was excellent, and... More

Drove down to Bellevue to do some wine tasting in Woodinville, enjoy the Bellevue Club and visit friends. Had many wonderful experiences, some planned, others like Gilbert's just luck. Friends suggested we do Sunday breakfast at the 520 Bar and Grill in Old Bellevue.... mistake. Had a light breakfast at the 520 which was quite ordinary then stumbled across Gilbert's.... More
