When it is summer time, make sure to grab a table outside to people watch. We have enjoyed our meals here. It is isn't cheap but the quality is reflected in what is served. Today our eggs were a little dry but normally everything is delicious.

The food here is good, but very expensive. We're talking about $20 sandwiches. The plates are heaped with food, and you can order half portions, which would give you a realistic portion and cut the bill substantially. The split pea soup was very good, the turkey with coleslaw was good and the French toast was good. All too much to... More

The weekday specials are reasonable and tasty. We each had the small omelette with bagel set. Bagels are very good with cream cheese and jam on the side. Nice choices for the omelettes, various veggies and cheese combos. Very tasty and just the right size. One egg plus. Coffee is self serve and fine. Atmosphere is cozy friendly. Staff were... More

It seemed like a Bellevue treasure compared to the rat race of the mall area. I walked from the Red Lion up Main Street for about 15 minutes to Old Town to get there. I got the Matza soup which is their specialty. First they served me a good bagel and cream cheese and great jam then came the huge... More

Best Blueberry and Walnut pancakes I have ever had. They were the size of a very big dinner plate and came with butter and maple syrup on the side. Best tasting pancakes ever !!

I was so pleased to find this place for breakfast. It's only 15 minutes walk from the hotel I was staying at. Friendly efficient service, great food, coffee, and decor. It's was a nice way to start the morning.

Great location and excellent service (Steve Gilbert even stopped to refill my coffee). Gilbert's is a neat little place to relax, drink coffee, and have a bagel. The weakness is in the quality and price of the actual food (high price, average food). Great Bagels, it's the rest of the offerings that don't measure up. Stop for coffee and to... More

My husband and I were staying in a hotel and were fed up of the hotel restaurants. It was so nice to find this breakfast place. It felt great, had wonderful decor and really good coffee. I see a lot of people complain about the price but I dare you to go to a hotel restaurant and you'd be happy... More

I really like this place. The tomato soup is especially yummy, as are the salads and the matzoh ball soup. I was charged $2.50 for a coke. That was a shock. You order at the counter and they deliver, pretty speedily.
