Great food, nice wine list, great atmosphere

We cam here for a late snack on the advice of our concierge (we stayed across the street at the Hyatt). Ordered 3 items from the tapas menu - asian chicken, flatbread with pear and gorgonzola and the most delicious kale salad. This is definitely a very cool place. We ordered a bunch of food to share. Some of it was really excellent (e.g., the Tuna carpaccio), other was ok (the stuffed olives), and other not so good, i.e., the flatbread with pears and gorgonzola. Let me focus on this last one. Definitely they should have called it "onions with pears and... More

I visited the Black Bottle this week at the tip of a friend who knew some of the staff. I couldn't have been more pleased! Great beer selection, great appetizer/tapas menu and a really hop and cool atmosphere. The service was excellent and the waiter hooked our large group up with a phenomenal set of dishes. The broccoli was surprisingly... More

Great food, terrific beer and friendly wait staff. This is a place we take family and friends to when they come to visit. It's also a favorite place to meet friends. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. You can share a number of dishes and try a variety of terrific food. I love the boar ribs!

First off the service was excellent! Waitstaff attentive friendly and offered great suggestions. The Pom and Greek salads were excellent! The butter lettuce and the pom were my favorite but the Greek salad was great. I had the scallops and daughter had the ribs. Both excellent. Drinks were great. Cherry tart for dessert. Very tasty. We sat outside was nice,... More

I walk by this place all the time, and never knew it was a tapas joint. We went for an early dinner and the service was helpful, efficient and superb. Music was great too. I was surprised how generous the portions were for tapas --- huge bonus points. Then, blown away by the pulled pork tacos, braised short ribs and... More

We met with friends for a wonderful tapas and drinks dinner. They have a great selection of sharable serving size entries and appetizers. The service was excellent and we had a great time talking. Tables and seating are laid out for plenty of light and ample room to talk without hearing the table chat behind you. They have a nice... More

If you're tired of the same old thing and you want flavor and creativity, this place is THE place. Plenty of craft beers and a menu that looks like tapas, but can really feed you BIG time, w/out breaking the bank. Bring your appetite and your brain, because they're both going to be happy. I had the Wild Boar ribs... More

Fun way to entice the palate with different dishes. Service was fantastic even after we were done eating and just visiting.

We stopped at Black Bottle for some after work drinks and snacks. Their Broccoli Blasted is by far the best way to enjoy this vegetable I know of. Charred and crisp without any overpowering spices. Very nice. The atmosphere is fun and the wait staff is friendly and inviting.
