A very busy place on the weekend. The bar was good and drinks strong. Good crowd. A nice dance floor.
I love small plates for sharing, and I find the food here good quality and interesting combinations. I went with two girlfriends, both of whom have small kids, and they didn't notice that it was adults only. I sure did! I don't hate kids, but it is nice to go where there is no crying, no crayons, etc. which seems... More
We really enjoyed our experience at Black Bottle. The food was good. Very lively, lots of fun. Given how busy the place was, the service suffered a bit. Make sure you make a reservation on a Thurs-Sat.
This place was fun! Wish there was something like it in Atlanta. Bring your appetite, because this food is crazy good. One of the many things about Black Bottle I like is that you can order as you go, it comes out as soon as it’s ready to eat! For a first-timer, this menu had me going in circles; I... More
I've been to Black Bottle twice. The first time it was in the winter and it was a cold day. I was the first of two to arrive. They sat me at a two-top right next to the door. I requested to be moved because 1) every time the door opened a blast of cold air hit me and 2)... More
I enjoyed this place. Had the Pear and Gorgonzola flatbread as a starter - was very good. The crust was chewey as opposed to crunchy which I liked. I ordered the goslings black rum neat which was fabulous. My coworker tried to order a particular type of wine, which was only available by the bottle - would be nice if... More
I used to love the Black Bottle in Seattle, and was excited when one opened on the East Side. However, the menu has not changed in a while and the place is just not that interesting anymore. The blasted broccoli is good. Pork belly is hit or miss as it is sometimes overcooked. Nice ambience though.
Met some friends here who had been to the one in Seattle. I loved the ambiance and the food and beer were great. My fave was blasted broccoli, flatbread and gargonzola chicken. Our waiter was AMAZING! The parking garage validates and is around back but the parking spots are so stupidly small.
We ordered several dishes (tapas) and all were very good. The place was lively but not too loud. I would guess that the ceilings were about 20 feet high giving it a very open feel. The service was good and reliable. Over a three hour period, two of us had 3 glasses of wine, three beers, about six dishes and... More
