If I had the choice of only one restaurant in the world that I could go to (or my last meal) it would be Din Tai Fung. The pork dumplings are a burst of flavored goodness in your mouth, the garlic green beans are to die for (yes , I know they are just green beans, but they aren't), the... More

We don't get the chance to eat much Dim Sum on this side of the Pacific but a friend of ours suggested that we try Din Tai Fung when we visited our kids. Of course they had already been there but readily agreed to go with us. We had our thee year old grandson along so the waiting line even... More

Nice atmosphere, however, it lacks coziness and warm for my taste, especially for a restaurant with this price range. Good food, however, there are so many options with pork in it the menu that you are almost forced to choose vegetarian plates to avoid pork. Of course, you will expect pork in a Chinese restaurant menu but, one or two... More

Higher class Dim Sum type noodle assortments, with appetizer sized fried rice, pork chops, shrimp, chicken, soups, pork buns, deserts, etc., and fairly reasonable à la carte pricing (pay as little, or as much as you want). Fancy, clean and impressive. Seating was a mix of booth style, bar seating and side by side tables (where you're seated alongside other... More

Sunday morning, they open at 10am. We arrived at 9:45 and there was about 4 families in line. By 10 am there was 15 families in line. We were seated at 10, (they are SUPER organized and I like that). Within 30 min this place is full and it's not even lunch time! Our friends love this place so we... More

I lived in Singapore for over a decade where there are several Din Tai Fungs, and although I enjoy the food here, it's just not quite the same as in Asia. Not sure if it's ingredients or chefs....anyway certainly still very good compared to what else is available locally. Can't go wrong with any of the dumplings or the hot... More

In full disclosure, my son works at thte Bellevue location. if he had not been employed there not sure we would have heard of it. DTF has a wide variety of handmade food, all freshly purchased, made from scratch, what a concept! Yes the dumplings are not what you had at grandmas house...these things are fantastic, again in several varieties,... More

I have been waiting for months to find a friend who could meet here for lunch! Finally tried it yesterday and it exceeded my expectations. We arrived at 11:30 to beat the lunch rush (there was quite a line by noon) and I was fascinated watching the staff make the dumplings through the front windows. Based on reviews, we ordered... More

This is one of the best Asian restaurants in Bellevue. I have eaten here twice: one year apart; the food is to die for, and the service is excellent.

We went for lunch - early, and there was a line. You can look through a window in the kitchen where there were 18 ( yes 18) people rolling dumplings and wontons. Ask your wait person what to order. Full bar. Terrific! We had vegetables (green beans), seafood wonton, seafood dumplings w/ soup inside, and a great noodle dish. Upstairs,... More
