The "shop window" of this restaurant is a bunch of guys making fresh dumplings right in front of your eyes. I was hooked from that moment on! The wait to get in is long -- but they have an app that shows you how many seatings are in front of you. So, you can just wander around the shopping mall... More

My only complaint here is that they won't seat you until your entire party is present. The food though - incredible! We were ordering random foods and didn't know how to properly eat it and one of the waiters saw our confusion and helped us figure it out - super nice and helpful!! The location is a little annoying but... More

For those of you from Toronto, don't be fooled - this is not the same Ding Tai Fung as the one in First Markham Place. I'm not harping on Ding Tai Fung from Markham but this one is LEGIT and, yes, better. The Xiao Lung Bao are superior and the soup is less greasy. You must get the spicy dumplings... More

This restaurant can have a decent wait, but it's well worth it. You will be entertained by the dumpling maker crew out front or wander around the mall with a buzzer while you wait. Once inside this very busy restaurant, you pretty much never want to stop eating. I have never had a dish that wasn't delicious and I always... More

My daughter wanted to go to Din Tai Fung for her birthday dinner so we ventured to Bellevue even though we knew the wait would be long. Took about 45 minutes to get a table but it was definitely worth it! The juicy pork dumplings are amazing!!!! Highly recommend as long as you have patience. The staff is excellent.

Decided to go after rave reviews on Check Please Northwest. Was told we would have to wait up to an hour; however, as soon as two seats were open at the bar 10 mins later, we took them and actually enjoyed the atmosphere at the bar. Without question, this is the best chinese food we've had. We weren't told but... More

Din Tai Fung is a chain restaurant that originated out of Taiwan. Its Bellevue franchise is, like most of its other branches, very crowded, mainly with overseas Chinese visitors. When we arrived for lunch, on a Friday, at 1:20pm, we were told it would be a 2 hour wait. We therefore decided to eat elsewhere, for who can wait that... More

We have visited Bellevue every summer for the past couple of years (instead of staying in DT Seattle) and this is one of our must-go-to restaurants The wait -It is busy, but the restaurant is large and the turn-over is significant. That being said, during weekend lunch/dinner, expect to wait ~30 minutes for a table. The experience Restaurant is busy,... More
