Serious Dumplings!

Was in town for a night and saw this place, the wait was over an hour plus but found two great seats at the bar. Great food ordered the truffle dumplings, Bok Choy and sesame noodles, all fabulous! Try it with the sparkling sake.... I'm hooked!

Excellent food and service once you got inside. Our hotel gave us a card that got us into the restaurant in 15 minutes, otherwise we would have been waiting for an hour and a half. Our server was very helpful and prompt. Food was fresh, well presented, and a good value for the money. Younger kids might have some trouble... More

They have a large staff continually making dumplings. Everything on the menu is delicious from the dumplings to the sesame noodles. The only downside is that this place is so popular there can be a very long wait to be seated.

Simply put, Din Tai Fung is an incredible Chinese restaurant with premium interiors, modern decors and most importantly, delicious food. My family and I have always enjoyed dining at Din Tai Fung, whether it’s the franchansie locations in Korea, Hong Kong, Mainland China or down in Los Angeles. If you happen to be dining at Din Tai Fung for the... More

It is worth the wait. The best XiaoLongBao I have ever tasted. They will text you when a table is about ready which is about 45 min wait. You can shop and walk nearby or you can watch how they make the dumplings. It was interesting to watch how fast and precise they make the skin for the dumplings. Once... More

Great food, very busy restaurant with no ability to make a reservation so be prepared to wait a long, long time. Or else, avoid coming during peak lunch & dinner hours.

I still can't understand why this place regularly has an hour wait. My daughter's favorite food is soupy pork dumplings so we eat them quite a lot. The ones at Din Tai Fung are decent, not good, not great. We also had the shrimp & pork and pork & veggie dumplings, both subpar. The bubble tea was also the worst... More

This is a busy, noisy, energetic place. Long lines, crowds, busy wait staff. They text you when your table is ready, so you can wander in the mall while waiting the 20+ minutes till they can seat you. Once in, if you like steamed dumplings, this is your place. The shrimp and pork shao mai is a favorite, along with... More

First of all, be prepared to wait. This place is always busy, but the wait isn't usually more than 20 minutes. While you're waiting you can watch the amazingly speedy fingers of the people making the dumplings and shao Mai. This is done right in the front with a large window facing the entrance area. The food is delicious. Let... More

Good food, but their popularity is going to their head. If you're willing to be treated like cattle with attitude, and long waits, just for decent food, then this is the place. We got there, been there before so happy it was only a 30 minute wait, took a walk, they called us, were there in 3 or 4 minutes... More
