If you can get past the window with too many staff packed into a very small but sterile work environment, the rest of your experience will be great. We had a big party and they seated us without a reservation - even though it was very busy. Service was excellent and the food came out quickly, but each dish was... More

I've walked past Din Tai Fung several times over the years, and always wondered at the large crowds waiting outside and peering into the prep area where several dumpling assembly lines are at work. Someday, I thought, I should give that place a try. Someday came on a Saturday in the early afternoon. Rather than wait for a table, we... More

I ate so many dumplings that I now have a little extra 'bumpling' added to my tummy... hahaha... TIP: Go on a weekday to avoid the crazy wait times. We went on a Tuesday around 7:30ish in the evening and we had a wait time of 15-20 mins. They DO NOT take reservations over phone. It is in Lincoln Square... More

We were taken there by our daughter and her boyfriend on our visit to Seattle for Thanksgiving. To say that we were surprised is an understatement. It was our first visit to Bellevue also. Beautiful lights and very nice mall setting. We had a short wait to be seated and were able to watch thru the window to see the... More

The hosts were absolutely incompetent. They skipped over our party after telling us it would only be a 10 minute wait. 20 minutes later (and having been waiting in front of the hosts' table), no one had checked in with us. We asked how much longer and they said they had called us -- but hadn't. They began to argue... More

Can't be there just a few times because of so many choices on the menu. Need to resist ordering the same favorite selection you had last time and try a new item. Best dumplings you can find, better than in China towns around the U.S.

One of our favorite places to eat, always tasty. Favorite dishes change with each visit. Come early, no wait. Why is the lady custodian in the men's bathroom? We're not in Europe.

Go here for only and only the mouth watering FOODDD !! I couldn't make a reservation earlier, and when i did on spot they wanted all the members of the party to be together before getting in. The wait was long but was worth it. I recommend the dimsum's - try all !

The service is usually quite good but you may want to start at their restaurant is Seattle if you want instructions on the best way to eat their foods by mixing vinegar, soy and ginger and dipping the dumplings and meats. Don't miss the pork dumplings topped with soup and the green beans are delicious!!

I stared at the line and walked away. After spending the next 20 minutes walking around not finding anything appealing we walked in. Had a bit of a wait (approx. 45 minutes if I remember right) but while waiting in the bar a table opened up and the excitement began. With steaming bamboo bowls and delicately placed dishes my journey... More
