Closest thing to the authentic Chinese Cuisine...

If you are in the Bellevue area, line this up for one of your dining activities.... other than their Taiwan location.... this is the only one I know of in the US.

Weeknight dinner with a 15 minute wait. Not bad. Great menu variety and I didn't think the prices were bad. The shaved ice was huge! I really recommend. Kids loved it.

Thought we'd find good dim sum here but it was pretty tasteless. We've had way better for way less. The best thing was the pork chop..Upscale prices without the upscale taste.

First be prepared for the long wait which is usually more than 60 minutes. It may be arguably the best xiaolongbao in Seattle or NW in America but if you travel north of the border to Vancouver there are so much more authentic Shanghainese restaurants that can rival or better that. The hot and sour soup is neither spicy nor... More

This is the place I take all my colleagues who travel on business. They LOVE the healthy change of pace. Excellent service beginning to end and impressive food.

If you already love Dim Sum, or have wanted to try it, you can't go wrong by going to Din Tai Fung. Our group sampled 10 dishes, and the only one we felt wasn't quite as good as the rest were the fish dumplings, which didn't have a lot of flavor until one added some ginger slices and chili sauce.... Super casual, no frills establishment, with friendly, efficient service and AWESOME food! I hesitated dining because it is a noisy, rather bare bones kind of place and was concerned we would not be able to hold conversation. Wrong! We were so caught up in the fabulous flavors of the food, conversation wasn't a problem at all, the din of our... More

I have been here multiple time now, and this place never fails to deliver some of the best Asian food I have ever eaten. Everything is served up quickly and fresh. It has a somewhat chaotic feel, but it is a wonderful dining experience. Go hungry and you will not be disappointed. Arrive early or go late, or be prepared... More

They have an awesome assortment of dumplings here, I tried as many as I could. Pro tip - the XiaoLongBao are outstanding, I could eat those all day. The sautéed string beans with garlic are heavenly. It gets busy here so be prepared to wait. Delicious place. Just writing this makes me want to eat there.

It's a popular place so be prepared to wait for a table but definitely worth it. To kill time you can watch the how quickly the employees wrap dumplings. Service is fast and the food is amazing. Everything they make is top notch.
