Was told this was the place to go for special occasions. Went to celebrate our 27th Anniversary. Wait staff hovered way too much. It was uncomfortable. Ordered tableside Caesar and it was awful. Too much oil and mustard and missing anchovies. Steak was ok, the chocolate molten cake was dry and stale. Over priced and not worthy of its reputation.

With help from the Sommelier we chose a great bottle of wine for $68, it was called Termes from Spain. We tried the Australian WAGYU and it was like butter. The pea and strawberry salad was terrific, the twice baked potato out of this world! The noise level just right, the staff were lovely and gave just the right amount... More

My wife and I went to Happy Hour this week. We each got the half pound prime burger with Kurobota bacon and white cheddar with fries. The burgers were perfect. Excellent meat , charred and all the condiments worked well together. It is big. The fries were fresh cut potatoes, quite tasty, but could have been a bit more crispy.......just... More

it is a top quality restaurant. Yes, expensive but for a special occasion it is really worth it. The décor is very modern and nice, beautiful in the evening. The waiter gentleman was very professional. The food is excellent. The tempura bacon is to die for, lol. Highly recommend it!

Okay, this place is expensive. Ridiculously expensive. The top of the line Australian Wagyu Filet is like...80 bucks for a 4oz and $120 for the 6 oz. Just buck up and get the dammed thing. It's...ummm...astounding. Then add the Lobster Mashed Potatoes and chase it all with the Volcanic Chocolate Lava cake. Seriously good. While I haven't been in some... More

I love steak. Historically, Daniels has been my favorite steakhouse. When John Howie opened, my wife and I gave it a try. We loved every aspect of it but the price - it's probably 1/3 more than Daniels. So we made JH our "annual" place - we typically go once a year for our anniversary - it is that special.... More

Dined here last year and left disappointed so when a friend chose this for this birthday I was bummed but.....SO glad I gave it a second shot! Service was fantastic. The perfect amount of professional and friendly. Food was awesome! I am a tried & true Daniel's fan but have to admit this filet was better. It was perfectly cooked... More

My brother and I decided to take my mother to John Howie in Bellevue for her 87th Birthday. What a great idea! The service was outstanding and the food scruptious. We had the Maine Lobster Salad appetizer which was well worth it. What flavor! Then mom and I split the "Oscar Style" Filet...highly recommend...and it was very nice of them... More
