Good food & friendly service

We came in for lunch without a reservation and the place was packed because of the unseasonably warm weather. Had to wait only about 15 min Good wine by the glass I had Panzanella salad but with a different twist & the small portion which was DEFINITELY enough for me. It was very good. My husband... read more

There are so many tasty treats at Cafe Nola! Two of our faves: 1. Appetizer: Bacon Wrapped Dates, stuffed with chorizo, sprinkled with blue cheese, drizzled with balsamic reduction. These little treasures are the perfect mix of sweet and savory--crazy good--you may need more than one order. 2. Dessert: Tiramisu. Best we've ever had, including in Italy! Save room, or... More

Fantastic food and service! If its a nice day opt for outdoor seating. The Salmon Nachos, The grilled Alaska King Salmon and the Steak Burger are all fantastic

We tried Nola's again after a year's absence. The food was excellently prepared and the menu interesting. Drink prices are reasonable and they are good with children. The brunches are busy but we showed up with no reservation and they told us if we went for a stroll they would call us in 20 minutes, which they did. A good... More

We walked in of the street not knowing anything about Cafe Nola. We had a great lunch. Everything was reasonably priced. We had Tempura Nueskes Bacon served with Maple mustard. Very good. Kids had burgers and one had clam chowder. Kid with soup said Pikes Clam Chowder was better. I had soup and salad combo. Grilled chicken goat cheese with... More

I have been to Cafe Nola many times. Normally, I have been happy with the quality of the food and the service. Tonight I was appalled by the quality of the food. We ordered the presto Brie and were surprised that we received three small slice of bread. Added to this was the fact that the grapes were spoiled.. I... More

My husband took me here for a late Valentine's Day brunch. I ordered what our server recommended, which was the caramel pecan french toast. She said it was famous on the Food Network. My husband ordered the fried chicken and waffles. I now see why the french toast is so famous. It was delicious! It came with syrup on the... More

Met friends for lunch at Nola this past weekend while on Bainbridge Island. A friend who lives on the island recommended it. The food was ok, but for some reason I thought it was going to be much better. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible but there are other places in the area for lunch that are much better... More

We wandered in after a bad experience at two other places nearby, starting to despair that the foodie talent couldn't survive across the Sound...until Nola's! Cioppino, crab, fish, chanterelles, shishito peppers, soups? All marvelous over the course of 3 lunches and two dinners. Servers professional and friendly too. This place should be #1 on Bainbridge Trip Advisor readers!

Within walking distance of the Bainbridge Ferry. Cozy, comfortable, wonderful staff. We wanted one of everything on the menu. The pecan French toast and roasted veggie sandwich were excellent...delicious!
