A better than average pick on Bainbridge Island. It just feels a little pretentious, trying to hard. You will pay a pretty penny here, do lunch, it is the best choice. One of the best interior atmosphere's on FUNKY Bainbridge Island.

At the corner of Madison Ave. and Winslow Way on Bainbridge Island, WA sits a wonderful little boutique restaurant the owners refer to as Café Nola. Although I do not know this for certain I suspect the name Nola comes from the acronym for New Orleans, LA (NOLA). The menu contains the type of eclectic selections you might find in... More

While visiting Seattle we took the ferry to Bainbridge Island for the day. While there we had a wonderful lunch at Cafe Nola. For an appetizer we had the lobster deviled eggs, they were perfectly seasoned and a taste explosion. My husband had the crab sandwich and I had the Mahi fish tacos. Everything was exceptionally fresh and cooked to... More

We took the ferry over to Bainbridge Island to celebrate my Husband's 72nd birthday. We picked out 3 restaurants from Tripadvisor to check out where to go for a nice meal. We finally picked Cafe Nola and were not disappointed. The Brie Cheese appetizer was delishes and glad we had it. The Halibut was prepared to perfection and was served... More

The house salad and scallops were delicious. Service was slow but friendly. The attire of the waitress did not seem appropriate for such a nice restaurant.

Fish and Chips were great. Crispy outside with moist, tasty fish on the inside. Outside dining was great with light breeze and sunshine. Short walk from Ferry for a quick afternoon lunch.

We came here because our first choice had a long wait. The food was good, but a little over priced. Wine prices were very reasonable. Service wasn't terrible, but seemed disorganized.

We walked over to the village from the ferry dock and were fortunate to find Cafe Nola. The grilled salmon sandwich was excellent. Nice selection of wines by the glass, half and full bottle. Reasonable prices, friendly service.

I visited during a work morale event outing. The wine and beer list was OK but severely limited option-wise. I started with the clam chowder which wasn't as thick as I personally like it. Adequate flavor but nothing to write home about. I then had the special halibut sandwich. Again, adequate but nothing special. My coworker mentioned that the crab... More
