Great French Toast!

While on Bainbridge Island we came across this little cafe. I had the Caramel Pecan French Toast, which was very good. The service we received was quick and pleasant. My husband had the Dungeness Crab Melt. It was expensive but he enjoyed it.

Cafe Nola is the restaurant of last resort when you forgot to make reservations at Hitchcock or Marche. Service is good.

The weather was good so we decided to take the ferry over to Bainbridge. One of my friends is from there and she said it's a great island to wander around. The ferry took about half an hour, and remember, your ticket is for roundtrip...do not buy a return ticket like we did. We walked up to the town...it's not... More

In town on business and found Cafe Nola for a little more upscale lunch. Not your typical soup and sandwich spot, although they have that option. Nice diverse menu. I had the seafood stew which was very good and my lunch mate had soup and salad. Steak, mushroom, and white bean soup…very tasty! Salad with a crab topping option. Wouldn't... More

After taking the ferry to Bainbridge Island...stopped in at Nola for lunch...it was a beautiful day...and this is an attractive property...but, food was just ok...could have been because we were spoilef by Pike's Place Market cuisine, but both felt the food wad a little flat...lacking in flavor, although presented nicely...would likely look for alternatives, if we returned to this lovely... Great food and the mushroom risotto was yummy. Interesting old fashioned but very good. Great menu, wine and service we'll be back

We stopped for a delicious lunch at Cafe Nola. It's a charming little restaurant we had heard about through Trip Advisor and it was indeed just as described. Their soup of the day was a garlic onion that I could have eaten buckets of. Different and delightful, subtle and flavorful. Recommended!

We had not eaten at Cafe Nola in a number of years, but, based on recent positive TA reviews, decided to return; and we were not disappointed. The restaurant has a warm and cozy atmosphere and is located at the far end of town from the ferry (but a very manageable walk if you are on foot). We were a... More
