After reading tripadvisor reviews , my expectations were higher. Nice staff, clean cute restaurant, average food.

Today my husband and I returned to Cafe Nola. It had been two years since we had been here. Yet again, we enjoyed a delightful lunch. My husband had a glass of wine, and I enjoyed freshly brewed iced tea. We both selected the luncheon item of soup and salad. Fabulous! The soup - Pequillo pepper with kabocha squash -... More

Nice place. Friendly. Very international menu. I had a bird salad which was ok. The meat a little dry. My friends has dates wrapped in bacon and enjoyed them. The cioppino was said to be good. The mussels were excellent with a great sauce.

We ate there two nights in a row. Friendly service with innovative quality food and good wine. And, All within walking distance of our hotel. What more can anyone want?

Ate there twice last week and both times we were very unhappy. I ordered a salmon over potato. The salmon was raw and the potatoes tasteless and dry. The second time we ate there, I ordered crab cake served on a thick piece of bread with some cheese on top. The salmon was tasteless, the bread thick and dry, the... More

Most interesting brucnh menu I've seen in ages--wish I could have sampled the whole menu! I ended up selecting the biscuit (don't miss it) with poached aggs. But my brunch partner wwent for a more ambitious dish and as good as my simple choice was, I wish I'd followed his lead--it looked delish!

My wife and I took the ferry over to Bainbridge Island from Seattle for a tour of the island. While on the tour our guide pointed out some of her favorite places to eat and Cafe Nola was one of them. After our tour was over we decided to try it out and we were not disappointed. I had the... More

A better than average pick on Bainbridge Island. It just feels a little pretentious, trying to hard. You will pay a pretty penny here, do lunch, it is the best choice. One of the best interior atmosphere's on FUNKY Bainbridge Island.

At the corner of Madison Ave. and Winslow Way on Bainbridge Island, WA sits a wonderful little boutique restaurant the owners refer to as Café Nola. Although I do not know this for certain I suspect the name Nola comes from the acronym for New Orleans, LA (NOLA). The menu contains the type of eclectic selections you might find in... More

While visiting Seattle we took the ferry to Bainbridge Island for the day. While there we had a wonderful lunch at Cafe Nola. For an appetizer we had the lobster deviled eggs, they were perfectly seasoned and a taste explosion. My husband had the crab sandwich and I had the Mahi fish tacos. Everything was exceptionally fresh and cooked to... More
