The menu was impressive and the food was even better with great prices. Our server was very attentive.

Come just for sopa Azteca. The massive chunks of avocado, tons of chicken and just the right amount of cilantro make this our favorite item on the menu. Margaritas hit the spot. Carnitas are crispy and its caramelized onions are sweet. We love Las Trancas.

I stopped at Las Trancas late on an afternoon. There is a big sign for the restaurant visible from the intersection of Hwy 11 and Reservoir Rd, but the restaurant itself does not have any signage. It's on top of the hill overlooking Hwy 11 with a wee small "Open" sign in a window. The interior is very plain with... More

We were staying overnight in Woodstock and well... there's definitely not a lot happening in the town itself. With that being said, we saw Las Trancas and we like Mexican food, so we decided to give it a shot. I'm not sure if we just hit it on a good day (compared to other reviews on here) or they've just... Just an okay place, in all aspects. If you are hungry for Mexican and don't want to drive then it will pass. Have eaten a few times and feel the same with each visit. Not the worst Mexican I have had but not the best by far...

A more than decent Mexican restaurant. I loved the Chorri Pollo.... It was excellent. Hubby had a burrito with shredded beef that he said was very good. We went early at 4:30 on a Sat night so very good service as it was pre dinner rush.

The kids thought it was good (beef quesadilla and fajitas). One adult felt the fajitas were not well seasoned and the other adult thought the cheese quesadilla was ok but very salty. The complimentary chips and salsa were a step above average. The service was average. We were passing through and looking for an alternative to fast food which it... More
