We had dinner here while staying in Woodstock. We were 2 of about 8 people here at 8:00PM. That made me a little leery. The waitress was very pleasant and prompt. We asked what she recommended and she said the New York strip. My wife and I both had this. Very tender steak for a strip, cooked to perfection. I... More

Good pub food with generous portions. Some clever specials and good spicy food options. The spice level is measured as Angry or Angrier (which will raise your body temperature a few degrees). Friendly and welcoming atmosphere and bigger inside than it appears from the street (a whole back area on the other side of the kitchen). The bar area is... More

Went around lunch time and was seated right away. We had the shrimp Alfredo and it was delicious. Our server was very pleasant and courteous. It was a very enjoyable atmosphere.

Stopped here for a late lunch one day so there weren't many other customers. The service was good and friendly, as was the French Dip on a sub roll. The Tavern chips beat French fries any day in my mind - crisp and tasty with just a bit of seasoning.

This is a high rating because I'm giving this place a major benefit of the doubt. The place was so empty that the bar tender was also the hostess and waitress. The fullest room was the bar with very quiet locals. I would have felt better about the food if I did not have to pass the kitchen and the... More

We stopped in for a break from antiquing one Saturday afternoon, we weren't too hungry, but we needed a break. We ordered French Onion soup and beverages. The soup was served in crocks with melted cheese and was tasty. Our waitress was very pleasant and the room was very rustic with low ceilings, wood floors and everything you would think... More

Pros- Friendly staff Clean Nice atmosphere Burgers Cons- Entrees were not good. Packaged food heated and placed on plates. Vegetables were burnt. Avocados were hard. Fish was what you get from frozen section of grocer. Overpriced. Fish tacos were $13+. The entree consisted of three tortillas with shredded lettuce, deep fried fish chunks, and ranch like dressing, with 1/4 cup... More
