The only decent Southern BBQ restaurant I have found in the area. Even some of the regular customers seem imported from Dixie. EVERYTHING is good. Beware the Sunday buffet crowd!!! You'll lose an arm if you get between Bubba and his ribs. more

I realized after writting all my reviews of TN BBQ joints I should tell folks about my favorite and pretty much only local joint I patronize. So here goes. First don't worry that you can't smell the pit when you drive up. It is real BBQ-- Dixie Bones does a booming catering business and the pit is around the corner... more

The food here is great. The macaroni and cheese is the best ever. And the bread pudding. And the potato salad. And the cornbread. Fiance loves the black top BBQ sauce and the sweet tea. The ribs have so much meat on them. My only complaint is that it's always crowded- but that's just because it's so good. But once... more

Slightly overrated in my opinion. There is better BBQ out there. They do good catering though. But the actual restaurant itself, meh. more
