I was recently in Woodbridge for an event, on the same day that I really wanted to watch a football game. I like to smoke cigars when I watch football. I called all over town looking for a place where I could watch the game, get something to eat, and have a cigar, before heading off to my event, and... More

The food is pretty good but the service is horrible. The management is even worse. Don't waste your time here. I had an issue here during one of their fight nights and was passed around from person to person and when I asked to see the manager I waited for about 15 minutes. I see the manager in the bar... Great chili (I recommend the teralingua), tater tots... I love the Elvis sliders. It's too bad that based on the no-smoking law allowing smoking in closed-off areas that there is no bar to sit at in the non-smoking area.

I was lucky enough to be given $100 worth of gift certificates to this place. I ate here enough to know that the food doesn't get any better. Go for the sports, eat before you go.

I can say for something different go to Hard Times, but not as a steady--honestly, the food now is just average.

In some ways it has come a long way from the smoke-filled billiards parlor that also served food. I stopped to get a carry-out order and was directed to the bar. I am a cancer survivor and will not enter there again. Second hand smoke kills too and ruins the aroma of otherwise good food. I love their Cincinnati Chili... More

This is the only time we had horrible food on our trip! I would never go back here again! The service was adequate but would not advise anyone to choose this restaurant. Crackers in basket were stale, and some were put back opened.

Hard Times has a very well-patronized bar presence for locals, providing plenty of pool tables, music, and great local beers. Don't overlook the restaurant though - they are known for their amazing chili recipe. Try the "Terlingua Red" - it's a Texas chili with no beans, but great spice. It's served over spaghetti and very delicious!

Cold beer, hot Texas style chili and cornbread. What more do you need! Oh yeah fried pickles. Always fast friendly service and a large selection of very cold beer. Prices are very good and the have a daily special. Worth the trip.

The service and the food at Hard Times are just ok. Nothing special to go out of your way for.
