First time eating here. Met 2 other couples here. The decor is really amazing, but nearly everything else was average. Service was average--neither fast nor slow. Waitress brought a salad with the cheese, despite one of our party specifically requesting one "without cheese". Chips and salsa provided and refilled while we waited. Salsa was the brownish version with a bit... More

My family likes Uncle Julio's overall; we've been many times. The main reason is because we haven't found better Mexican food in the area. I love fajitas. Call me old fashioned, but paying >$20 for fajitas (for one) is near robbery. Plus, the fajitas don't come with a lot of meat (or toppings, for that matter). Service is usually good... More

This was on my list to try. My husband and I came with some friends of ours. They love it, after my first experience, I didn’t love it. We chose to sit indoors versus outdoors. It was very loud once it got crowded. I will say the frozen margarita was delicious and the Guacamole made with fresh avocados was delicious... More

It's hard to resist their fresh squeezed juice in their drinks. Appetizer specials are great. All foo is also great. Go early and sit at the bar or outside if nice out.

The food is average, but well cooked. The bar scene was kind of a mess, but if someone suggests this as a place to go/drink/eat... you probably will not be disappointed.. you will not be blown away.. but..ehh.. there is ALOT worse in the area for a tex-mex cuisine.

Visited 3/22/14. Sat outside, beautiful night. Waiter overwhelmed. No menus, Brought wrong appetizer, Manager fixed that, we thought, then brought right appetizer, then a third that was not ordered. Had to go find the poor waiter to finally get our dinner order in, then waited and waited. Dinner finally arrived .. fajitas ... but came with no grilled peppers or... More

Great restaurant with very good food, but I really don't like their salsa. Wish they would make another kind, I would go more often. I have been many times, though.

We went to Uncle Julio's several times before but had not been in six to eight months. We previously had a satisfactory experience, but not last night. Apparently, they are using apprentice cooks now who have no idea what Mexican food is supposed to taste like. We went in a party of eight. The place was only half full, but... More

I'm surprised to see so many unfavorable reviews. I've probably dined there 10x and only once did I have bad service - and honestly, it wasn't the worst restaurant service I've received. The atmosphere is awesome (very well decorated, big, open ceiling and tastefully colorful decor). Went here for date nights, girls nights out, dinner with the kids/grandparents. The salsa... More

Really good food here. The service is also awesome. My favorite it the Juarez that features the slow cooked ribs. I haven't had a bad meal here.
